History
In 2012 the municipal states of the pacific Descended into civil war because evidence of the civic rights party rigging the election of 2010 and evidence of high profile scandal involing high ranking member of the civic rights party. The rebels won and a new consiton turing the municpal states into the republic of Jefferson was pasted in 2013 and elections were held in 2014. Jeffeson joined the united states in 2020.
Politics
The Jefferson Nationalist dominated politics by the Jefferson nationalists. However there were two major factions within the Jefferson Nationalist. One was the unionist who want to join the united states and the other was the independence who in of course favored remaining independent. The Unionist gained power after the election of 2018. Besides the Jefferson nationalist there also the populist party. despite Jefferson Nationalists having control of government the populist were starting gain streagh before Jefferson joined the united states, They went form 5 seats in the house and 1 the senate in 2014 to 10 seats in the house and 3 in the senate in 2018,. After joining the unites states the nationalist joined the republican party and the populist joined the replican party
Economy
Jefferson's economy is primarily based on agriculture , fishing timber and food processing. Jefferson has one of the largest wine industry in north America. Jefferson's economy has revived a major boost form the opening of the railroad to the to united states
Military
In the end of the pacific civil war, the local militia's were merged in a naitonal army. Half the pacfic state navy was sunk during the cival war. How the republic of Jefferson has bought 4 more ships form the ANZC.

The municipal states radio stations were combined to form the Jefferson national radio network in 2013.
A national newspaper the Jefferson Times gazette was launched in 2016. Many cites run their own independent papers
Jefferson National TV was launched in 2019
