The Republic of Lithuania is one of the nations in the Union of Kõnigsberg, and is pretty much almost identical to OTL Lithuania. It began as the Republic of Lithuania Minor, forged from the northern Kingdom of Prussia by the Pskovians during their conquest of the Prussian Crown in the Continuation War of 1656-1658, and then officially became the Republic of Lithuania in 1668 after the Great March South when they captured the city of Vilnius, and proclaimed themselves to be the legal successors to the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, and made Vilnius the capital.

History[]

The Humble beginnings of Lithuania begin as the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, which I will link to soon, probably. The Republic of Lithuania draws its formation and roots from the Republic of Lithuania Minor, forged from the northern Kingdom of Prussia by the Pskovians during their conquest of the Prussian Crown in the Continuation War of 1656-1658, and then officially became the Republic of Lithuania in 1668 after the Great March South when they captured the city of Vilnius, and proclaimed themselves to be the legal successors to the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, and made Vilnius the capital.
