The Rhineland League, also known as the Rhenish League and officially known as the Independent League of Rhine States, was founded upon the collapse of the Holy Roman Empire and Belkan Invasion in the 1760s.
Constitution of the Rhineland League[]
- The Member States as listed below come together as an Independent League of Rhine States, in the interests of peace, safety and prosperity for the German peoples. Each state retains its own independence.
- In response to injustices of the Holy Roman Empire, all member states get an equal vote as to who becomes the next Rhenish Kaiser.
- All Member States keep the Rhenish Kaiser accountable through the Council of Rhineland States, in which every Member State receives a vote.
- The Rhineland League includes a Rhenish Court of Justice, which consists of five academic individuals chosen from the five highest-ranking universities in the Rhineland (one from each university).
- The purpose of the Rhenish Court of Justice is to resolve any territorial or political disputes between separate Member States.
- The Rhineland League reaffirms its commitment to both Latin Rite and Northern Rite Catholicism, and the role of the Archbishop-Patriarch of Cologne in impartially ensuring German (now Rhineland) peace between the two aspects of Catholicism. [Note: This refers to the Council of Cologne decision.]
This Constitution was drafted by the University of Cologne and signed by:
- Archbishop Ludwich of Cologne, as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cologne
- Joachim Engelbert, Chancellor of the Rhineland League
- Ludwig Bonapaart, Vice Chancellor of the Rhineland League

Voting[]
In recognition of the inequality that previously existed in the Holy Roman Empire, the Rhenish League gives an equal vote to all Member States as to who becomes the next leader of the Rhenish League, otherwise known as the Rhenish Kaiser.
The Rhenish Kaiser operates similarly to the Holy Roman Emperor, but is obliged to remain accountable to the Council of Rhineland States (where every member has a vote).

Please state your votes below.
[I'm aware there's an even number, but I'm hopeful I've just forgotten a particular Rhineland State.]
Archbishop Ludwich of Cologne and Abbess Marie of Essen vote for the Archbishop of Cologne as Kaiser, seeing as he has effectively organised the entire Rhineland League at this point, and has all the best interests of German peoples in mind.
Swabian King Arnold Hohenzollern votes for Cologne hoping to seek for a better future under Cologne
Friedrich Hecker, statesman and representative for Archbishop Clemens Wenceslaus, votes for the Archbishop of Cologne.
