Richard V (Richard George Ernest Augustus Hannover; born 21 October 1980) is King of the United Kingdom and nine other Commonwealth realms.
Richard was born in Buckingham Palace, to King Richard IV and Queen Sarah. He was quickly made Prince of Wales (Welsh: Tywysog Cymru) as heir apparent to his father. He was educated privately at home by tutors, before attending Oxford University, graduating at the age of 24. Following university, he joined the Royal Air Force, serving for one year. In the summer of 2005, Richard started dating Rose Handbury, a British peeress, and a year later, they married. Their first child, Victoria, was born in early-2007.
On November 2014, Richard IV abdicated from the throne due to health concerns, which resulted in Richard's ascension to the British throne as 'Richard V'. (WIP) In 2009, Rose and Richard's second child, Prince George, Duke of London, was born, and two years later, Charlotte, Princess Royal would be born.
The reigns of Richard IV and Richard V are often referred to as "The Richardian era" by the press.
