Charge of Rough Riders at Santiago de Cuba
Rough Riders officially 1st Confederate States Volunteer Cavalry, was one of the 3 regiments raised in 1898 for the Spanish–Confederacy War and the only one to see combat. Rough Riders was commanded by J.E.B. Stuart Jr. Rough Riders was one of the bravest regiments and only one do more damage to the other side. Rough Riders suffered 56 casualties to the opposite side, but only 8 of them died in war.
