Sadaium is a city and former city-state in eastern Solcia. It is one of the major seaports of the Adsea and the capital of the Solcian province of the same name.
History[]
The old walled city of Sadaium was founded in 365 by soldiers returning from the Neboleptine War. It was connected by road to Seuthai and the rest of Solcia in the 370s. During the Solcian Interregnum (381-394), Sadaium came under the rule of the statesman and general Akroricus, who successfully resisted a siege by Catules I in 394. Sadaium became independent after this, occasionally paying tribute to Solcia, until it was reconquered in the Pyrgeiran War (553).
