The Sarajevo Incident of the 21st Century was a military skirmish which took place in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina on 7 June 2015 between the United States and Russia. The incident marked the first time that Russian and American military personnel engaged in direct combat against one another since the Russian Civil War. It is also regarded by most historians as a prelude to the Third World War.
