Scottish Succession Crisis was a year long civil war, which began after forces of Henry VIII called in by the Queen Mother Margaret Tudor expelled Archibald Douglas to France after he killed James V in a coup. Following this he was secretly brought back and rebellion against the infant Robert IV. Henry VIII came back again and in a single battle destroyed the army and then his son Henry secretly poisoned Archibald's wine. This made Robert's claim stronger and stabilisation also minorly stopped the spread of Lutheranism, though this was not intended.
