The history of the Romans is a long, and somewhat brutal one. From republic to empire to multiple, the period between 476 AD and 1444 was not particularly nice to the Romans. A telling tale of the world's most expansive civilisation and empire at that time, to a mere ground laid for its future offspring. But what if luck was on their side? What if the Romans were able to slow their decay and rise above the chaos? This timeline is one of the times when said luckiness prevails for the Romans, starting at 117 AD, at the Romans height, and continuing to the present day.
