In 1948 a newly developing Pakistan establishes a very small chain of mines to get their country started in trading and their economy. But in a small mine a new resource is found, serpintium. Pakistan becomes extremely excited and starts trading large amounts of the new resource. It is quickly found out that serpintium is the best and most reliable resource. Pakistan quickly becomes the richest country in the world and changes its name to Serpistan in 1950.
