Siberia, officially the Siberian Federation is a country in Eastern Russia that spans most of Southeastern Siberia, including the region's largest city, the capital of Vladivostok. Siberia's reach of control is not well defined and it is engaged in border conflicts with China in the south and the Siberian Russian Republic in the north.
Siberia is effectively the continuation of all the remnants of the Russian Federal Government that was lost during the War of 2017 in Siberia. It is considered by the UN and many survivor nations to be the true successor to Russia, despite the recent discovery that the actual Russian government survived.
Siberia is a militarist power, formed out of the remnants of the Russian eastern military command. It is engaged in border conflicts with both China and its rival state of the Siberian Russian Republic. It also engaged with Australian and even American forces following the War of 2017, but has since relaxed relations with most nations and has even began the process of joining the United Nations.
History[]
No targets east of the Ural Mountains were within range of the British and French nuclear arsenals. This allowed Siberia to quickly rise as a regional power. Elements of the Russian Eastern Command would split following the federation's official declaration. This caused the outbreak of the Siberian Civil War between the Siberian Federation and the Siberian Russian Republic, which claims loyalty to Moscow despite the loss of that city. That war is still ongoing, however battles are infrequent.
Government[]
The federation is made up of 13 oblasts, 1 autonomous republic, and 1 federal city, the capital of Vladivostok
