Siberia, officially known as the Khanate of Siberia and historically referred to as New Zemble, is a vast and powerful nation in North Asia that is among the last independent khanates left in the world. It has a long history of resisting Russian colonization between the 16th and early 20th centuries despite the famed Italian settlement of New Humanity (OTL: Australia) happening on March 30, 1590, rendering the Russian attempted conquest of Siberia a centuries-long failure ever since and creating a longtime gap between Russian and Indigenous Siberian influences until the Russian Revolution of 1917. Ergo, Russia would never become one of the largest countries again, with that title instead belonging to Siberia at an enormous 13.1 million km² behind only Canada and Italy. However, despite its immense size, Siberia is only the 16th most populous country in the world due to various factors such as its harsh climate, that of northern cold, and the population effects of various events, although years of failed colonization by the Russians have kept Siberia's population predominantly Indigenous even today.[1] This makes Siberia more populous than Turkey but less so than New Humanity.

Siberia's capital and largest city is Chimgi-Tura, a large city that was nearly destroyed by Russian colonizers in the late 16th century but still exists today in better shape in spite of that attempted colonization. Like the rest of Siberia itself, it is very diverse and home to thousands of ethnic groups and cultures.
