The Siberian Confederation, also known as East Russia, is a nation located in North-East Asia.
It was formed in the aftermath of the Second Russian Civil War, by various states who had declared independence from the Soviet Republic.
Despite declaring independence, The Siberian Confed. has never been recognised by East Russia.
West Russia is currently on the ILS non-permanent Security Council.
Structure[]
The Confederation is made up of nine Federal Subjects:
Seven Fully-Autonomous Regions: each is tasked with drafting its own constitution, direct-elected head of Region or a similar post, and parliament. Republics are allowed to establish their own official language alongside Russian but are represented by the federal government in international affairs. Republics are meant to be home to specific ethnic minorities.
Two Semi-Autonomous Oblast: rarest type of federal subjects, with locally elected governor and legislature.

Military[]
After World War III, the remaining Soviet Forces in the East were defeated by local resurgents. After the restructuring process of 1990-1995, the United Siberian Armed Forces were formed.

Each state has its own small armed division. There are nine State Divisions.
There is a larger central Army, controlled by the Central Authority. The USAF currently has a total personnel of 550,000.

It also has a strong Navy, with the Fleets stationed at Vladivostok, Magadan and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
Space Exploration[]
The Confederation is notable for sending a satellite into space in 2017. It was named Quantum 01-A (квант 01-A).
The Largest Spaceport in the SC is located at Vostochny Cosmodrome, on the 51st Parallel North.

The Siberian Space Station (SSS) is planned to begin construction in 2025, and is expected to be finished in 2031. When it is finished, it is planned to hold a crew of six.
