Smithin is the currency of Deseret, it was created to conter the American Dollar its worth 3x as much then the American dollar.
History
It was created in 1861 by John Taylor however at the time it was worth half of what USD was worth at the time. It mainly stayed this way until the early 1900's where it became worth 4 USD. Well that was until the Nixon Family accepted a bribe from a unknown source and printed a lot of Smitins in 1932 making the Depression worse and causing the Smithin to be worth 0.4 USD and after the depression it was worth 1 USD
In the 1950's and 60's it war worth 1.2 USD. In the 70's it was worth 1.5 USD. and in the 80's it was worth 2 USD. In the 90's it was worth 3 USD. In the early 2000's it was worth 4.4 USD and during the Greater Depression The King Printed money and made it worth 0.8 USD.
