Ivan Ivanovich, the son of Ivan IV Vasilevich survived alongside his son, named Vasili IV.
Timeline:
- Ivan Ivanovich became Tsar in 1584.
- Ivan died in 1606 lefting the throne to Vasili IV.
- Vasili continued the russian expansion and the Rurikid dynasty.
- An Russian Soviet Socialist Republic was proclaimed in 1917, but if fell quickly due to Constitutional Monarchist revolts, restoring the Rurikid Tsar to the Russian throne and creating an liberal government.
- If the Romanovs weren't in power, Peter III would ascend in the Swedish throne as Karl XIII, following the death of Frederick I.
- The current tsar is Rurik IV, aged 64.
