Sovereignty is a timeline in which the Civil War ended with a draw, and the U.S. was forced to recognize the independence of the Confederate States, the Central American Union doesn't fail, Australia gets colonized by the Byzantines, and much, much more. Anyone is free to join, and contributing to this project would be appreciated as I have a short attention span due to ADHD and Autism. It is heavily inspired by Differently and An Honorable Retelling with my own flavor of alternative history.
Points of Divergence[]
1300 - The character Thorn (Þ) (represents the /th/ sounds) continues to be used. Instead of thorn dying, it was Wynn (Ƿ) (represented the /w/ sound) that died earlier instead, making Thorn's usage continue into the modern day.
1453 - The Ottoman Turks fail to conquer Constantinople, and move to outer Anatolia (Sovereignty's modern-day Ishuwa)
1865 - The Confederate States of America win the civil war, and cause the United States to recognize the South.
