Spain (Spanish: España), officially the Kingdom of Spain (Spanish: Reino de España), is a country in southwestern Europe with parts of territory in the Atlantic Ocean and in northern Africa. It borders Portugal to the west, Morocco to the south, and Andorra and France to the north.
