League of Nations Peacekeeping Force[]

The League of Nations Peacekeeping Force is the armed wing of the League of Nations, serving in the same function as the preceding UN Peacekeepers. It also serves the role of providing security to League of Nations buildings and facilities as well as protection for high ranking officials.

A major difference is the presence of a permanent peacekeeping force that is not solely reliant on member state contributions. Even with the core independent force, the League still relies on members to support missions as the force is mainly a light infantry organization. It maintains a small naval and air wing with the sole ability to transport peacekeepers into conflict regions and resupply. The vessels and aircraft are only lightly armed for defensive purposes and are painted League blue to indicate their international protection.

The League has the ability to recruit from member states, up to half a percent of the domestic population. In practice, it operates nearly ten thousand personnel with the majority stationed in Africa and South America.
