The War

on May 17, 1756 British forces attacked disputed French Positions in North America eager to start a war after many Previous wars. it started with a British ambush on a French division in Jumonville Glen sparking the Battle of Jumonville Glen. The French forces there, startled by the attack ,quickly lost to British forces there. This Was the beginning of the French And Indian war and what is North American theater of the Seven Years' War. The French Were Outmatched Population wise with their colonies while the British had the advantage with more Population (The French had 66,000 settlers while the British had two million) and so the French called in their Indian allies to aid them, the British did the same.

Meanwhile in Europe A Diplomatic Revolution of Alliances was Going on, the Austrian Empire Found themselves As An Ally to the French and the Prussians found themselves as an ally of Great Britain. Prussia, seeing war imminent, Declared war on Saxony and Quickly Overran It, this caused an Uproar across Europe, due to Austria's alliance with France, Austria was bent on regaining lost territory in the War of Austrian Succession, most of HRE sided with Austria and followed the order's of the Imperial Diet and declared War on Prussia, a few small states Joined Prussia and Britain declared war on the HRE and Hanover to join Prussia's side due to the Electorate's Personal Union with Britain, sparking a Declaration of War Formally on Britain and Aiding the Austrians and Austrian aligned HRE members in their attack on Prussia and its allies. Due to Spain's Pact De Familee with France, they joined France on their war against Britain, Portugal joined the War as well, but on the British's Side, so together the French And Spaniards Launched a Very Successful Invasion of Portugal, With France Blockading Important Trading routes and supply lines from Britain to Portugal, Spain quickly subdued peasant uprisings and revolts in occupied territory and using the untouched or burned Resources that the peasants tried to burn. Portugal is quickly Blown Out of The War not even having a Chance to Make an Important Stance in the war, the Spanish and French continue to occupy Portugal until the End of the War several Years later. Russia Joins the war on the side of the French due to fears of Prussian Territorial Ambitions in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, Sweden joins as well, on the French side to reclaim some territory lost in the War of Austrian Succession.

Back in North America, General Edward Braddock plans a four-way invasion of the French colonies in North America, none of these were successful and Braddock's main front proved disastrous, he lost and died at the Battle of The Monogaleha, the British failed at operations in the Pennsylvania and New York causing the French Colonial forces and Indian Warriors to push into British America and Iroquois Tribal Lands. In 1755 The British failed to capture Fort Beauséjour and got their forces obliterated by a much greater force then expected thus thwarting the British's Plan to cut French Forces in half and separating New France, instead The French drove The British Out of more of British Occupied New France and French Aligned Indian tribes Such as the Seven Nations and Algonquin Swiftly took back And Pushed into Iroquois land And Burned Many Military outposts of the British in Iroquois Land. The British Colonial Government Fell In Nova Scotia due to Many disastrous campaigns and the Siege of Fort William Henry, William Pitt loses the Parliamentary elections in Britain and thus never Fixes the issues the British Colonial Armies had and thus a a new Prime Minister was elected and the French and Indian war soon fell into a French victory slowly, The British also were failing to give supplies and weapons to the Colonies in North America due to constant French intervention and Sacking plus Attacks on British Trade Ships, the Iroquois Are Slowly Losing the Supplies of guns and other European Weaponry to fight off the highly equipped Seven Nations' and Algonquin Warriors as the British need to save and stockpile more Firearms for their own Frontier against the French, thus the Iroquois Start losing Many Battles and Fall to enemy Tribes in 1958, thus losing Britain's Biggest Indian ally in the French and Indian War. The British did win the Battle of Cartagena but failed to capture the fort of Desquense and had a Stale mate at Fort Frontinec, the British Morale was Depleting.

Back in Europe the French Attacked Minorca, and Seized from the British at the Battle of Minorca, the Russians began an Tactical Invasion of Prussia from The PLC (Polish Lithuanian Commonwealth), and launched an successful flank against Prussian forces in East Prussia, Hanover Is attacked by a coalition of Anti-Prussian States and Sparks the battle for Hanover in 1957 and Lasts for a Year and A Half of bloody Fights that rage on, The Prussians see a Successful First three years of endless Victories, these were soon to become Endless Austrian victories. France Vowed for a build up of the French navy in the English Channel to Combat British activities and To Sabotage British Trade routes to Prussia.

In India, thanks to the War in Europe, tensions in the subcontinent between Trading Companies have gone violent and with the British East India company Retaking Calcutta from Nawab Siwaji, a French Ally, and ousted the prince from his throne at the battle of Plasey at the same time French Forces Held back an Attack on a French settlement at Chandernagar and pushed back the British Colonial Forces and took some Villages on the push back,this spells doom for British Forces in India, Meanwhile in Sri Lanka, A Rebellion Popped up and Lead by a Ex-Officer in the British Colonial Forces who voluntarily joined by defected, he Starts the rebellion in the Busiest and biggest port city in Sri Lanka, Colombo, and successfully secures it and takes control, banning all and everything British related, the British now have to deal with revolts in their colonial lands which does not spell success for the Battered Empire.

Meanwhile back in Europe, the British Navy Does an All Out attack On Gibraltar, Many British convoys are Confiscated on the way there, But Press on, they Attack Gibraltar on may 5th, 1759 and Many Marines Land on the ports while British Ships now up some docks, The British Forces Quickly secure the Rock of Gibraltar, This Siege was Coordinated and Drawn up by the personal General Staff of the King and Was Worked on for years, this along with The British Securing other Valuable Places like the entrance into the Mediterranean by Spain was Taken, the British Sent many ships to secure the seas, The British forces in Gibraltar occupied it and Held there ground for a few years. The Holy Roman Empire Fails to conquer Hanover, With Prussian and British aid and supplies given to the Hanover army, and with Prussian and British reinforcements, the Invasion was a failure and the Austrian coalition was Ashamed for this Failure. Meanwhile in India, the revolts are quickly put down and the British Push into French territories, meanwhile to Mughal empire Is Bribed by the French into joining the war, which they do, with the promise of British Lands, Mughal forces quickly cross over into British Indian Territory, the British Manage to Stop the invasion, they meet a little resistance, which kinda surprised them, but they managed to halt it. In North America, British Reinforcements from other British colonies in the Caribbean arrive, some get attacked by French Battleships, but a vast majority make it to their destinations. The British Colonial forces in North America are resupplied and push into French Aligned Indian territory with vast success, The Spanish attacking from the South from Spanish Florida are stalled at The Fort Of Atlanta, with the Spanish time after time failing to capture it.

South America: in South America, Portuguese Brazil was taken by the Spanish after the capitulation of Portugal and integrated into New Spain, possibly becoming a Viceroyalty. Colonial Forces in new Spain Attack the British Island colonies of Trinidad and Tobago, lucky for the British the islands were Extra fortified, and the Spanish at first fail to land on the islands, especially with the British Navy guarding it, but the Spanish break through and Manage to land some marines on the Shore, but a Huge attack by British Garrison forces surprised the Spanish marines, Reinforcements for the Spanish are requested, and a few days later, after the Spanish are stuck on their ships, more ships with more Troops arrive, and the Spanish finally take Trinidad, Tobago is still left, with some of the British Garrison forces retreating to The Island, the Spanish set sail to conquer Tobago, again, they meet a heavy resistance, and are unable to land, they decide to wait the high out and let the troops rest, but have a large night watch Squad to Look out for Enemy ships that may try to retake the Island of Trinidad, in the morning the Spanish take off to Tobago and actually take the British by surprise, but the British are also well rested, so they are also very energetic, for hours the Battle rages on, with the Spanish managing to Get some troops on the island, they manage to take a small beach fort, and continue to push on into the island's jungle, meeting more heavy resistance with guerrilla warfare being used by the British Forces there, the Spanish Flood the shores of Tobago with Marines, who Dash into the jungle to aid their Spanish brothers, the Spanish finally manage to take the island by 4:00 PM and celebrate with beer at night! The British POW's are treated with respect and are offered to Drink with them as to show the honour and the troops' bravery in the battle.

In India the Mughals get pushed back, with High tech such as modern guns and cannons while the Mughals have Very early guns and no cannons, relaying heavily on Calvary. The French Start an Arms trade with the Mughals, but it will take a while to completely rearm the Mughal Army. The British flank French Forces, causing a major blow to the French.

In the next three years, the British and French would see many successes, but the French would soon end it. British Colonial forces in North America are finally Beaten, with the Last few men being in a Garrison Unit guarding Philadelphia, the Colonial Capital of the 13 colonies. The French Forces step in and Start reinforcing Mughal lines in India, French armies rush into British settlements and Take siege to forts, with many colonies in India being Occupied by French and Mughal forces.the Dutch, by pressure of Britain, soon joined the war, and declared war on Austria and France, they quickly lined up their troops and Invaded France, but they had their eyes on the real prize: The Austrian Netherlands, which had been taken over by the Austrians, they soon Invaded The AN, the French and Austrian Forces offered a separate peace with The Dutch, with the Netherlands gaining the Austrian Netherlands if they Just get out of France and Resolve all physical hostilities with them, the Dutch agreed and signed the "Franco-Dutch accords". The British navy would soon be crushed, with French Naval Vessel Blockading the English Channel and with the French navy closing In in the Ships, the rest of the Navy, under a new commander who through the last admiral over board for his reluctance to surrender, surrendered to French ships, the British war effort ended as soon as that got out to British forces everywhere. The British Colonies in India were wiped out, many British colonists and Soldiers who nearly escaped being captured evacuated into trading vessels. Two-thirds of the British Colonial Army had been taken prisoner or were surrounded by French Forces. The Colonial Government of the 13 colonies surrendered, with no more supplies coming to the colonies, the colonists were starving, the troops were getting weaker, it was time to stop. British Colonial Forces in the Americas retreated from French positions, while French Soldiers quickly Occupied various areas they were ordered to take. The Rhode Island colony, which had been Invaded and Occupied by The French Navy a few years ago, stayed occupied, with French Forces wanting to keep the occupied colony for themselves as a French colony. The Spanish quickly grabbed The British possessions in the Caribbean besides the Bahamas. Britain officially surrendered in 1762, meaning that Hanover had also surrendered, due to Britain and Hanover having a personal union with each other. Austrian and HRE forces quickly Stormed into Hanover and occupied it for the rest of the war, HRE forces quickly Flanked Prussian and its allies' forces and Struck Prussian Occupied Saxony, And Liberating Saxony from Prussian Aggression. most of Prussia's allies in the HRE had been overrun or were weak, some even Offered separate peace with the HRE or joined the Austrian Coalition, this made the Prussian king furious, but his commanders suggested it was time to withdrawal and surrender, to end this war, he sadly agreed. And on February 14,1763 Prussia surrendered, its Germanic allies were occupied, and the Prussian army withdrew and went home. The treaty of London was signed on February 15th, and new Borders were drawn. West Prussia became apart of Russia, with Poland-Lithuania being outraged by this. Hanover will join Austria in a Personal Union and will be known as "Austrian Hanover" and will rejoin the HRE As an electorate. Prussia will be partioned between the main HRE powers, and the Prussian army and government is to be disbanded with the Monarchy going into exile in Britain. The Spanish are to get the Colonial possessions of Britain in the Caribbean that they have occupied. The French, under pressure from the soldiers there, are to gain Rhode Island as war spoils sense they have occupied it. The Iroquois's lands are to be Divided amongst the French Allied Tribes. The king of Britain shall relinquish the title of "electorate of Hanover". The French shall get all of the British Colonial possessions, while the French may give some of the colonies to the Mughals at will (they do). Sri Lanka shall gain its independence. Spain shall gain Portuguese Brazil and Portuguese Colonies while Portugal Itself shall Be in personal Union with Spain, and under Spanish authority. British possessions in Africa shall become French ones. British Possessions in Asia will become protectorates of Britain, France, and Spain. British Canada will come under French control. Spain shall get large amounts of British Georgia.
