USSR in 1949
In 1949, Joseph Stalin officially bans all religions and threatens anyone who believes that he will be executed.
6 September- Stalin holds a meeting in Moscow with the CPSS to discuss the matter with religion. He proposes to ban all religions officially and executed anyone who believes. Of course everyone agrees.
7 September- Stalin holds a speech, declaring all believers ,,traitors to the state and the party". Arrests begin all across the Union. In the first day, 800 people are arrested and 380 of them are executed.
9 September- Hundred of churches, mosques and many other religious buildings are burned across the Union.
