Stephen Colbert (Napoleon's World)

Stephen Tyrone Colbert (born May 13, 1964) is the current Speaker of the House of Representatives of the United States, serving in that capacity since January 3, 2015. He was previously the House Minority Leader from 2013-2015 and Democratic Conference Chairman from 2009-2013. He chaired the House Policy Committee from 2003-2007 and was Conference Vice Chair from 2007-2009. He has represented South Carolina's 1st Congressional District, based in his hometown of Charleston, since 1999. He previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 1993 to 1999. After President John Calhoun, he has achieved the highest office of any South Carolinian in American history.
