東方地霊殿 ～ Subterranean Animism is the eleventh official game in the Touhou series.
Gameplay[]
Subterranean Animism features three playable characters (Seiga Kaku, Reimu Hakurei, and Yukari Yakumo), each with two weapon types representing a youkai assisting them from above ground.
Story[]
One day, when Seiga was enjoying a nice fine day, a geyser erupted out of nowhere. Seiga observes what is going on, and she notices that high amounts of earth spirits started to show up. Seiga went off, and asked for Reimu Hakurei and Yukari Yakumo to help out. Soon all three go to the Underworld, with a device Yukari Yakumo created out of some technology she obtained from the Outside World so they could talk even underground.
Seiga/Reimu/Yukari begin to go into the underground and pass by Yamame Kurodani, who greets them along the way. Then they approach Parsee Mizuhashi, who was guarding the bridge to the Former Capital, and lets them pass.
After a few minutes pass by, they reach the Former Capital. There they meet Yuugi Hoshiguma, who challenges them to a friendly battle, and Yuugi tells Seiga/Reimu/Yukari to check out at the Palace of the Earth Spirits for answers. Concerned, they move on to the Palace.
In the Palace of the Earth Spirits, they meet with Satori Komeiji, and ask her what's been going on. Satori tells them the problems, and so Seiga and Co. move on. Later they meet up with Rin Kaenbyou, and Rin asks them to stop Utsuho Reiuji before she really gets out of control. They manage to stop Utsuho in time and restore peace.
Afterwards, Seiga/Reimu/Yukari decides to go to the Moriya Shrine to talk with Kanako Yasaka and Suwako Moriya. They meet Sanae Kochiya along the way, who tries to block the way as both are very busy at the moment. Sanae is defeated, and soon they finally meet up with Kanako. After the battle, Kanako tells the whole story to them.
