Subterranean Europe (Map Game)

In this map game, The Black Plague had reached Europe and soon around 73% of Europe has died from the Black Plague. Middle East, Asia and China have also been very affected too by the Black Plague resulting a decrease in their population as well. Though soon, Japan, Korea, China, India, some of South-East Asia, other Arabian Nations (in Africa) and the Natives eventually grow into more powerful....

Fun fact: The title of this map game, Subterranean Europe, got its name from the 11th Touhou Project Game, Subterranean Animism.

Rules

1. First and the most important rule of all, Do not edit past turns when a turn is done. This is a big one, and consequences will happen if this rule is violated.

2. You can choose only one nation. However, you may create puppets, vassals and control them too...

3. The Chinese Calendar will be used. So, 1350 becomes 3986/4046 (really, it's 3986/4046 to 3987/4047, but the starting year for this map game will be 3986/4046).

4. Five years equals one turn. One turn equals one day. A new turn starts at 00:30 Japan Standard Time.

5. No Algorithm will be used, at all. However, if you still want to use one, feel free. Don't have to if you don't want to.

6. No invasion of Europe until 4011/4071 (OTL 1375). This gives some time for the plague to diminish, and sure enough safety to be able to invade. Unless you like having a challenge, then go on ahead, but be warned, the disease can and will take a toll on your military.

7. Be Plausible. No, you can't take over the world/have world domination. Also, there will be no three nation stand-off, no colonisation of space, etc.

8. Minimum nations worldwide will be 25 minimum. If it gets below that, there will be civil unrest beginning with the largest empire.

9. Industrialisation begins in 4406/4466 (OTL 1770), no earlier. Attempting beforehand will result with a natural disaster in your nation.

10. Be implausible once, your nation will have a worse natural disaster. If it continues, most of what you say will be ignored and won't be added to the map. See rule 16 on this list for more info.

11. Change the map size to smaller version or making it a gif/jpg will result in a severe natural disaster in your nation.

12. Not dealing with a natural disaster event will cause an even worse natural disaster happen.

13. No colonisation until 4136/4196 (OTL 1500). After that year, you may colonise Europe, Africa, Australia, and the Natives Land (OTL North/South America). You can try to colonise Antarctica if you wanted, though it's nearly impossible, unless your playing as a Scandinavian nation, but still.

14. A mod can only be chosen by me. No, do not ask me if you can be mod, it will not work that way..

15. Don't colonise your own continent! If your playing as Denmark, don't colonise Europe. If your playing as Goryeo, don't colonise Asia. You can just invade and conquer the area instead. You can colonise other continents but not your own. It just sounds strange...

16. Just because five years are in a turn doesn't mean you can hyper-expand like crazy. If I see such stuff, it will be ignored and will not be added to the map or if it is, it will not include all the land you say it does. The stuff won't be crossed out, but it will just be ignored.

17. Do not come complaining to me if there is a problem with the map or other things; just because your nation keeps hyper-expanding, does unusual stuff (i.e., nukes in the 15th century, really?), etc.. Not my fault if you can't read these rules. If the problem persists just leave this map game, that simple. Or if not, then just stop hyper-expanding, unusual stuff (i.e., Space Shuttles in the 15th century, really?) etc., that simple as well.

18. Trying to get around a restriction will only make the restriction last longer. If it continues You will be banned from playing the game for good. Please understand!

• Sweden: Sweden begins to expand the army as well as expanding into the neighboring lands around Sweden. The Baltic Sea area begins to be colonized.

• Ottoman Empire: The Ottomans expand their army and navy, consolidating its power.

• China: It begins to expand its army and navy. They also prepare to invade the western parts of Asia. They tax the rich to make sure they provide the money for the war.

• Mojave: The Mojave, after an long trek from the Mojave Desert, settle around the mouth of the Colorado River, and form the first permanent settlement in North America (as far as they know). They begin to plant native fruits and vegetables, and hunt coyotes and birds.

• Japan: Japan begins to build up their military and builds ships; and also prepare for the invasion of Hokkaidō.
• England hasn't seen worse. Northern England is the most safe place to be, but still the disease is huge. The people from Calais and Aquitaine is returning to the mother country, and Wales is under civil disarray because the death of many English that were in charge of keeping control there. Edward III is doing his best to keep the order with the new Parliament that will team up with the Privy Council, but it's still difficult. In the context of the Hundred Years' War, Edward builds up his military and hardly keeps control over his lands in France.

• Castile: The dead count continues to rise in Castile and especially in Milan. Its neighbours Portugal and Aragon are in similar shape as Castile. The bishop of Milan tells the king that the disease has been spread due to unbelievers throughout Christendom and Peter must unite Christendom and than destroy the Muslim horde in North Africa and the Middle East. The weakened military begin an attack on Aragon but make great inroads as the Argonese have virtually no government to stop the Castilian approach Castile stops its army as people begin clamouring for food and water. Castile begins plans to revive the invasion in the future when they can fed so many people.

• Sweden: Sweden continues to expand the army as well as expanding into the neighboring lands around Sweden. The Baltic Sea area continues to be colonized while colonies are established along the Volga River in Russia, which spreads Swedish control deep into Eurasia and the Russian heartland.

• • Eh? The Volga River is too far inland, and plus the Caspian Sea is completely surrounded by land. Anyway, there is lots of land around the Volga River that is parts of other nations too. Won't work that way, sorry...

• Castile: Castile continues to rebuild i.e. clear the dead rebuild fortifications that have been neglected and improve farming. Castile begins trying to increase its food production as it is beginning to increase its armies and has plans to conquer the kingdoms beside it. Castile advances into more of Aragon's territory

• China: China continues to build up and expand its military. Before invading Western Asia, they decide to look toward Southern China. They begin to develop infrastructure around the country.

• Japan: Japan continues to build up their military and builds ships; and also begins her invasion of Hokkaidō.

• Ottomans: Continue to consolidate their power.

• England hardly is recovering from the Death. The Royal Court has been moved to York. The English troops are still advancing the even more weakened by the Death, France. Some English ambassadors are sent to Sweden to ask for an alliance. The ambassadors tell the Swedish king their plans to invade the even less-affected by the Death, Scotland, a campaign that can't be done without help.

• China: China continues to pump up, expand, and build up the military. They begin to send expeditions to the Indian states, who appraise their civilization.

• Castile continues to rebuild cities are beginning to be safe again. Castile begins recruiting in the army food is sent to the conquered areas of Aragon and the people are flocking toward Castile lands. Castile continues sending people to the fields and fishing its coasts and has a surplus for the first time. Castile sends troops into more Argonese land.

• Japan: Japan continues to build up their military and builds ships; and continues invasion of Hokkaidō.

• Sweden (being controlled by LurkerlordB until Deansims gets back by Deansims' request) expands to the north.

• The Aztecs start expanding northward into unclaimed lands. To help with the expansion, roads are being paved for military use, but for a fee, merchants can use the road. More roads are going to be created for civilian use without the need for a fee. Also, farms are beginning to be re-designed to be better grown in mountainous areas.

• The Ottomans expand into Anatolia, building new fortifications and farms. The Ottomans establish a university in their capital Bursa, they use it to study various sciences including medicine and diseases.

• China: China declares war on southern China. They begin invading the northern border with their largest armies. The military and navy continue expanding.

• Japan: Japan continues to build up their military and builds ships; and conquers and annexes Hokkaidō. Infrastructure is improved too. Begins invading Karafuto island as well.

• The Aztecs continue expansion into unclaimed lands in the north. A few major roads have been completed and the military is now using them to go north faster and without getting lost. A few hundred farms have been re-designed to grow foods in the mountains easier, however many farms still haven't been converted and food production stays around the same.

• Castile: Castile continues to expand into Argon land with most of it been welcome many soldiers and peasants come to Castilian lands and the City of Barcelona welcome the Castilian rescuers with their food and water. Castile continues to focus on agriculture and sends more people to reclaim farms in Aragon border skirmishes begin on the Portuguese border from bandits trying to steal food. Castile creates plans to subdue the bandits and bring order to the region within time.

• Sweden expands their Finnish territory portion to the north, aiming to control all of OTL Finland by next year.

4006/4066 (1370)

• Japan: Japan continues to build up their military and builds ships; and continues expansion in Karafuto island.

• China continues to invade Southern China as it succumbs to Chinese rule. The military and navy continue expanding.

• Castile:Castile cement control over the remainder of Argonese land and King Peter is crowned king is Hispanina. Castile continues to improve its farming and irrigation techniques and begins increasing border skirmishes with what is left of Portugal which is ruled by bandit camps. The newly formed Spanish army begin advancing into Portuguese land slowly while bringing food for starving villagers and destroying bandit camps that are preying on the local villagers. The people see the the Spanish as their saviours. Spain begins to experience a baby boom.

• Aztecs: Expansion into the north continues, and the military also is expanded. The first resistance from Natives begins, and they are being put down violently. Roads continue to be constructed, and trade between cities starts to rise.

• Sweden: Sweden continues to expand the army as well as expanding into the neighboring lands around Sweden. The Baltic Sea area continues to be colonized.

• England continues building up its military. An invasion to Scotland is managed. As less affected by the Death, the Scottish lands are too coveted by the English. The English army pushes into Scotland to conquest as much land as possible.

• China conquers of what's left of Southern China. They begin to prepare their military for the invasion of the western kingdoms.

• Japan: Japan continues to build up their military and builds ships; and continues expansion in Karafuto island. Japan also conquers some of the Nansei Islands that are independent and grants them some autonomy. Anyway, Shinto Shrines are built in newly obtained areas.

• Aztecs: Expansion continues north, and the borders of the nation have reached the southern OTL Durango (Mexican state). More roads are constructed, and more cities have been connected. The first all civilian use road has been paved, and merchants now have a cheaper alternative to paying for military only roads. A new infrastructure project has begun, it involves building canals to connect rivers to the mountainous and desert areas to grow crops. It will require a good amount of funds, and so the military has been told that they will not be getting any major funding increases over the next ten years.

• Spain: Spain begins an invasion of Portugal making huge inroads against the bandit camps throughout the area. Spanish forces reach Lisbon and find that Isabel is the only member of the royal Portuguese family not dead due to plague. A marriage is made to his son Henry which cements the union between Spain and Portugal. Spain begins using the Portuguese fishing fleet to expands its fishing supplies and begin creating warships to protect its lands from the sea.

• Sweden: Sweden continues to expand the army as well as expanding into the neighboring lands around Sweden. The Baltic Sea area is now completely colonized. Most of Scandinavia is now under Swedish control. Sweden begins to expand into unclaimed Russia.

• Sweden: Sweden continues to expand the army as well as expanding into the neighboring lands around Sweden. Sweden continues to expand into unclaimed Russia. Sweden declares war on England and launches an invasion from Swedish Denmark near southern England while independence is promised to the Scottish peoples. The Swedish Navy easily blockades the English coast, and weapons are smuggled into Scotland. Colonization of Ireland begins.

Okay, I'm only going to say this once: If anyone, doesn't matter who it is, edits past turns one more time, severe consequences will happen. This is the second time this happened (with the first one being the Ottomans), so please, don't make it a third time. Thank you.

• Aztecs: Expansion continues into the unclaimed north, and resistance from the locals is being put down as we enter more populated areas. More canals into the mountains and deserts continue to be built, and agriculture production is rising. With the slowly increasing amount of available food, the population is also growing. The military is now having some trouble expanding north, as extra funding is going toward infrastructure.

• Spain: Spain continues to destroy bandit camps and distribute food throughout its kingdom warships are continued to be built. Spain begins instituting reforms into its military allowing more of the peasant class to join. The military begins to accept commoners into officer positions if they show enough promise due to the fact that the upper classes have almost been wiped out and there is a need to create a new upper class.

• Japan: Japan continues to build up their military and builds ships; and begins expansion into the Chishima islands and a slice of Kamchatka.

• China: China celebrates the unification of the country, while they continue to prepare their military to conquer the western kingdoms. They send expeditions all around the known world to learn new things and to appease the nations.

4021/4081 (1385)

• Sweden: Sweden continues to expand the army as well as expanding into the neighboring lands around Sweden. Sweden continues to expand into unclaimed Russia. The war against England continues successfully, and the year ends with Swedish troops taking London, while Swedish troops land in English France and begin to conquer the territory. England is offered a treaty ceding England's overseas possessions (including those in Europe) to Sweden, namely English France. Scotland will be granted independence form England as well. These terms are negotiable, and Sweden will be lenient on all terms except for the cession of English France. Colonization of Ireland and Greenland begins/continues. Sweden declares war on the northern most Russian State on its eastern border and launches an invasion of that country. The war is ended successfully by the years end, and the Russian State is annexed by Sweden.
  • No colonisation of the New World until 4136/4196 (OTL 1500). Greenland is part of the New World. Nice try.

• Aztecs: Expansion into OTL Durango continues, and the locals are being put down or kicked out. Agriculture production is rising to higher levels following the completion of several canals bringing much needed water to the deserts and the mountains. Roads are helping send the food being grown to the cities and the army, and everything seems to be going well for the nation. However, a new problem occurs when criminals begin raiding from merchants carrying food to the cities and army on the roads. However, due to budget problems, the military doesn't have enough men or resources to guard the roads and keep on top of everything else. To deal with the problem, several communities have formed militias to deal with these criminals and are often delivering justice themselves with axes.

• China: China declares war on the Tibetan kingdom. They send troops to the northeastern part to begin the invasion. The military continues expanding and upgrading.

• Spain: Spain has now a firm hold over its lands in Iberia and continues to increase food production and has aqueducts built throughout its kingdom. Spain begins coveting the kingdom of Naples with its universities and begins assembling a fleet to take over it. Spain lands troops on Sicily, Sardinia and Corsica to create a supply line between Spain and France. Spain conquers most of the islands and begins fortifying them and building ships to help with the invasion of Naples.

• Japan: Japan continues to build up their military and builds ships; and begins expansion into Kamchatka.

Due to Sweden breaking the rules of implausibility and hyper-expansion, and the fact that Swedes can not keep up with what the government is attempting to do, the angry Swedish people begin heavily protesting and then overthrow the Swedish government.
As a result, Sweden is banned from posting in this turn.

• China continues to invade Tibet from the northeast of the country. The military and navy continue expanding and upgrading.

• Aztecs: Expansion north has been stopped, and the military will now be focused only on protecting roads after several raids on merchants led to a food shortage in the north. The military will now be guarding these roads from these criminals. Several canals have been finished, and farms are growing a large amount of food. Several hundred people have moved north to live in the new lands that have been taken over the years, and roads begin to be built to connect them with the rest of the nation.

• Scotland: Scotland thanks Sweden for the help. They work on reclaiming much of their lost territory. While they aren't able to claim all of their land back, they do push into England. If England ignores this, the invasion will kill more. If England chooses to counter this, Scotland will end up reclaiming the rest of their territory

• Spain: Spain consolidates its control over Sicily, Sardinia and Corsica. Spain sends spies into Naples territory and the news they return with is dire much of Naples has gone into anarchy without any leader. Spain sends a small expeditionary force to Spain with boatloads of food and grain to give to the starving populace. Spain continues to send troops and supplies to the boot of Naples and the peasants flock to the Spanish army. King Peter marries his son to the most powerful noble's daughter which cements his reasons to control Naples.

• Japan: Japan continues to build up their military and continues expansion into Kamchatka.

• Aztecs: Construction of canals continues, and more roads are being paved as well. Raids on merchants has gone down as the military is guarding all roads. More settlers are heading north into the new conquered lands and are forming new frontier towns and communities along the border. Some don't stop and keep on going past the border. The locals up north often try to resist the settlers heading their war, and conflicts between the two groups often happen. The military is called upon to help the settlers, and now lands will be sold to settlers due to the cost of sending forces north.

• Japan: Japan continues to build up their military and continues expansion into Kamchatka. Infrastructure is improved, too.

• Spain: Spain continues to restore order throughout Naples and a new king named John is crowned who is declared emperor of the Spanish Empire. Spain consolidates its power and sends 100 of its best troops to the Vatican to act as the Pope's guards. They are named the Spanish guards. The Pope crowns John as the Holy Roman Emperor even though he controls no territories within the HRE. The navy is expanded as is the army which bolsters its army with troops from its empire. Spain begins massing a army to rid the last of the Muslim presence from Spain.

• China continues to invade Tibet, with the northeastern section of the country a;ready annexed. The military and navy continue to expanding and upgrade.

4036/4096 (1400)

• Japan: Japan continues to build up their military and continues expansion into Kamchatka. More Shinto shrines are built too.

• Spain attacks the last stronghold of the Muslims and now has complete control over Spain. The Reconquesta is complete and all Muslims are given the choice to leave Spain or convert to Christianity.

• China seizes the northern half of Tibet. The military continues expanding and upgrading. A Confucist coup in Beijing overthrows Mongol rule in China, allowing pure Chinese rule for the first time, with the Ming Dynasty declared officially in existence.

• Japan: Japan continues to build up their military and continues expansion into Kamchatka. More ships are built.

• China: The southern one-half of Tibet is now under Chinese rule. The military and navy continues expanding and upgrading. They focused their next conquest in the Chagatai Khanate in Central Asia. They also send expedition fleets, who discover civilizations around Eastern Africa.

• Aztecs: Construction of canals and roads continues. Because the population has increased a substantial amount over the last twenty years, the military is told that it will get more funding immediately and to start expansion north again. The rest of the OTL state of Durango is taken from the locals, and the military starts to drive them out.

• Spain: The Spanish armies are marshaled and a war is sought with Milan who has denied the marriage of John's daughter. The Austrian King has said it will defend Milan and all Italian cities from Spanish aggression as the Austrian king see himself as the real HRE. Spain attacks Milan and within four years Milan is taken as are many other Italian cities. The Austrians have fought the Spanish army to a standstill more troops are conscripted and are sent over to Italy. John begins to consolidate his lands in Italy.

• Sweden (Filling in for DeanSims): In the wake of protests the Swedish army suffers losses in England, but they manage to keep a small foothold. The new king creates laws that improve the lives of citizens because they are the ones who overthrew his father.

• Aztecs: A good amount of canals have been built, and it is declared that no more canals will be built in the South for a while since a large amount of canals are already there. With the extra funding, canals in the north are built faster and the military gets another increase in funding. The nation expands more northward, and more people head north. The military is surprised when they see Aztec settlers who headed out earlier already here. They ask them if they want to have their small communities join the Aztecs, and while a large amount joined, a couple of towns didn't and had to be "persuaded" to join.

• China: The southern one-half of Tibet is now under Chinese rule. The military and navy continues expanding and upgrading. They declare war on the Chagatai Khanate in Central Asia, invading from the east. They begin to build infrastructure, develop and improve irrigation systems and agriculture, and building new cities in their new western lands. The Great Wall's expansion into the west begins as the north is no longer full of barbarians to worry about. They also send expedition fleets,who discover the Aleutian Islands, believing a "new world" might be founded.

• Japan: Japan continues to build up their military and continues expansion into Kamchatka. More ships are built, and a new port is built in Shikoku.

• Sweden: Sweden continues to expand vigorously, while Sweden finishes its conquest of English France, and Swedish troops evacuate the English home island. Ireland continue to be colonized.

I'm not doing this on purpose, I would have done it as well if, like the Ottomans for example, had posted when the last turn was done. • Aztecs: More people head north to settle in the new lands, and expansion begins into OTL Coahuila. The locals there are allowed to become citizens of our nation if they declare their allegiance to the King. Otherwise, they will have to move out. The military encounters more from our nation who kept on moving north instead of settling in the new lands. Instead, they formed their own communities out here. These communities are more absorbed easier than the local communities, and they often help keep the military supplied. Canals continue to be built in the north to bring them up to date with the south, and roads are also being paved to get supplies around faster. The south's economy is doing quite well, thanks to all the infrastructure here. The booming economy here is helping pay for the expansion north and the building of infrastructure there as well.

• China: The central part of the Chagatai Khanate is under Chinese control. They continue to build infrastructure, develop and improve irrigation systems and agriculture, and building new cities in their new western lands. The Great Wall's expansion west still continues. Another expedition is sent, this time, landing on the Hawaiian Islands.

• Japan: Japan: Japan continues to build up their military and continues expansion into Kamchatka. Few more temples and castles are built.

• China:All of the Chagatai Khanate is under Chinese control. They continue to build infrastructure, develop and improve irrigation systems and agriculture, and building new cities in their new western lands. The Great Wall's expansion west still continues. Another expedition is sent, this time, landing on the Philippines. They set their eyes on conquering Timurid's empire.

• Aztecs: The military continues to head north, and settlers follow. Canals and roads are all built up north to connect them with the south and to provide water for the farms and a way to move supplies around there. The locals are being absorbed, but a full scale revolt has caused the military to stop heading north for now to put it down.

• Japan: Japan continues to build up their military and continues expansion into Kamchatka. Japan also builds more boats and improves infrastructure.

• Aztecs: The military has finally put down the revolt, and it continues heading north. More canals and roads are built, and more of the north is up to date in terms of infrastructure. Large farms are now growing in places where they normally wouldn't thanks to all the canals. More roads are also built helping get all the produce to the cities where food can't be grown. The military is also expanded, though not a lot of funds are going to it.

• The Chinese continue to build infrastructure, develop and improve irrigation systems and agriculture, and building new cities in their new western lands. The Great Wall's expansion west still continues. Another expedition is sent, this time, landing on New Guinea. They declare war on Timur's empire, invading from the north and east.

4066/4126 (1430)

• Japan: Japan continues to build up their military and continues expansion into Kamchatka. Japan also builds more houses, and improves the economy a bit.

• The Chinese continue to build infrastructure, develop and improve irrigation systems and agriculture, and building new cities in their new western lands. The Great Wall's expansion west still continues. Another expedition is sent, this time, landing on Tahiti. They secure the eastern and northeastern parts of Timur's empire, continuing to invade from the east.

• Aztecs: More canals are built, and the entire nation is up-to-date in infrastructure. Canals are bringing water to the deserts and mountainous areas and growing foods of all kinds, the roads are bringing these foods to the cities and the military, and these roads are helping bring the military and settlers northward. More people head northward and frontier towns continue to rise in population.

Expansion continues into Scandinavia and the surrounding lands, although integration of the newly conquered lands could take a few years, and a large military presence is maintained in the newly conquered lands. If this is to implausible I can change it. Swedish Explorers set off from Bermuda and discover OTL's Caribbean Islands, and several colony ships in Bermuda are directed to OTL Cuba, which is named Nordica, and a colony is established near OTL Havana. Explorers bring the news of these lands back to the Swedish crown, which keeps them secret under pain of death, and a massive colonial fleet is sent westward to OTL North America, which is discovered by Swedish explorers and named North Sardinia. Exploration continues of these new lands, although the Colonial Fleet will arrive some time next turn.

China declares war on the Golden Horde, attacking from the southeast of the country. They sign a secret pact with the Russian states, promising them freedom if they support them in the battle.

• Aztecs: Thousands of settlers head into California, and more of the area is under Aztec control up to OTL San Jose. More roads and canals are built into the region to get supplies there faster, and to get more settlers to move out there. The King is glad to see that this productive region is coming under Aztecs control, and he plans to visit there once it is tamed and the military is enforcing the law. A new type of industry becomes popular in the South, shipbuilding. It has become popular as more people have moved to the city and old canals are being used as swimming pools. Many people want to have some sort of thing to float in the canals, and with a large influx of people coming in from the coastal areas, ships have become popular. Also, Canoes are being built. When the King saw people canoeing or floating in the canal in a boat, he becomes inspired by this and declares that the nation needs a large fleet of ships. A lot of people are now getting jobs making ships for recreational reasons and for the government.

There are now two major roads between California and Arizona, and the rest of the nation. This is helping the military and settlers move northward faster. The military, after preparing for the last five years, has officially invaded the nation of Mojave. The military advances quickly at first, surprising many villagers, However, after taking half of the nation, militias and the military has stopped the army from advancing anymore. After stopping to wait for supplies, the militias attacked. After intense battles in the villages, the army just adopted a policy of burning conquered towns if they help the militias. Thousands of villagers die in this policy, and this helps prevent the enemy militias and military from getting new recruits.

• The Mamluks continue fighting the Syrians, finding them harder to defeat than they thought. However, they have numbers, so they believe the eventual victory to be inevitable.

Settlers have begun moving into the conquered lands, and the locals here are often the subject of racism by returning soldiers and the families of soldiers. More canals and roads are being built in the conquered lands. Farms are prospering, and people everywhere are living a comfortable way of life.

People in the cities have started working in small workshops that build things for the military and (sometimes) for civilians. This is helping make military goods faster, but it is more expensive because of the cost of labour. A new tale has spread around the country of a man who is said to have headed Eastward on his boat and landed in a new land that was more fertile than the land they lived they currently lived in. He also said that there was islands around this new land. The Kind has ordered a group of settlers to head into this land. They left, and when they landed in OTL Cuba, they made a settlement on the Westernmost part of the island.

• The Mamluks have defeated the Syrians and they annex Syria. However, the war has resulted in taxes having massive increases in size, which results in the Mamluk government becoming incredibly unpopular due to the long war. Many Arabs resent the Turkish rule and feel they should own the lands.

• Swede: Sweden has been expanding as fast as possible over the past unposted turns, and declares war on Denmark, invading the small country and after more than 4 years of brutal warfare, Denmark surrenders to Sweden and is annexed by the Swedsih Empire. Sweden is renamed the Tsardom of Sweden.

• Tsardom of Sweden: Sweden continues to upgrade is military and navy. Sweden declares war on the Russian state on its eastern border and launches three invasions in to its heartland, and it surrenders after just over three years, and it is annexed. The smaller state within Sweden's territory is also invaded, and easily occupied in less than a year. Integration of these new lands begins immediately.

• The Mamluk Sultanate, destabilized by the war with Syria, collapses into revolution. The new order, this time dominated by Arabs instead of Turks, comes to power, called the Masahid Caliphate, which rules over all former Mamluk lands and keeps the alliance with China.

• The Aztec King, excited that a settlement on these new islands has been made, orders more settlers to go there and that no more expansion on the northern front happens until all of these islands are conquered or settled. Soon, after five years of settlers exploring these new lands, they have taken over or settled all of the islands in the Caribbean. The King himself has visited the islands and decided to have a vacation home in OTL Cuba. More canals and roads are built, and engineers are looking for a way to get clean water in the islands.

Revolts start out and begin in the Central Asia and Middle East that is under Ming Dynasty rule, as Ming Dynasty is just too large to be able to control huge areas of land. Soon, Korea also revolts too, also wanting independence from China.

Despite Ming Dynasty letting everyone of all ethnicities have equal rights, some break away to make their own nations anyway and the Ming Dynasty continues to shrink. The strongest rebellions are the Persian and Central Asian Turkish rebellions, as they have religious and ethnic differences.

• China ceases all military conquests to deal with the rebellions in their territories. They will execute anyone involve in the rebellions, will they reward those who continue loyalty to the emperor.

• The Masahid Caliphate continues to expand in the undeveloped Arabia, with sympathetic tribes everywhere except in the Oman region. The Masahids begin to build a port on the Red Sea.

• Japan: Japan continues to build up their military and continues expansion into the North Eastern Lands. Japan also sends an ship, which soon they manage to reach around OTL Chile and set up a colony called Kagiyama.

A small settlement whilst the ships return with news of this wonderous discovery many people begin to move out to the "New World" for a better life. • Japan: Japan continues to build up their military and continues expansion into the North Eastern Lands, and the colony of Kagiyama expands. Japan also asks for an alliance with newly independent Korea, and will support and protect them from the Ming Dynasty.

• China threatens to declare war on Japan if it does not stop meddling with Korea. They put down all rebellions in the eastern part of the empire, with only rebellions left in Central Asia and the Middle East. They begin to prepare to conquer Korea and the other separated states. Chinese sailors discover America when they reached the San Francisco Bay, however, colonialism is not a good time as the rebellions back at home must be taken care of.

• Spain: Spain continues its war against France and begins allowing people to migrate to OTL New York settlements begin to be enlarged and missionaries are sent to convert the natives. Spain continues to build up its armada and sends some ships to explore the coast of the Americas and begin to make small settlements throughout the northern half of OTL USA

• Aztecs: An Aztec boat captain, trying to win a bet that he made with one of his friends, sailed out past the islands, but got lost. Starving, he tried to get to land as fast as possible. He didn't bother to turn around, and soon landed in Europe. He managed to talk with the locals through using his hands, and got enough food to head home. He soon spread this news through the empire, but the Aztec King does not care about these new lands to do anything out there. The military is begin to move into position to attack the nation above us (I don't know the name, it covers parts of Nevada and Utah). More infrastructure is being built, and farms are making more food thanks to the new canals being built.

• Japan: Japan continues to build up their military and continues expansion into the North Eastern Lands, and the colony of Kagiyama expands. To avoid any possible war, Japan stops supporting Korea, and decides to also cut off all relations with China, as Japan doesn't want to deal with threatening governments and doesn't want any trouble nor war either. Meanwhile, Japan sends an ambassador to Spain, asking it for an alliance.

• China: Takes back Korea and Central Asia after defeating the rebellions there. This leaves the Middle East and the Golden Horde left. China asks Spain for an alliance and trade agreements. They begin a period of military occupation and rebuilding in those areas. other rebellions inside the country are quashed.

• Spain: Spain continues its war against France with only a small portion of Brittany remaining fighting against the Spanish troops. Spain amazed that their are so many powerful nations to the east begins sending out scouts to assess the strength of these nations. France accepts trade agreements with China and declines alliances with both nations unless they allow Spain to send missionaries to their countries. Spain continues to expand settlements on the Eastern seaboard and begin trading with the natives there.
  • Chinese Diplomacy: It agrees to the Spanish request. They also allow a limited degree of Christian missionary activity in the country.

• Sweden (taking over for Sims): Sweden continues to expand into OTL Russia, and establishes colonies in OTL Greenland.

• The Masahid Caliphate now owns all of undeveloped Arabia except for the parts that are part of OTL Oman and Yemen.

• Aztecs: More Settlers head northward, and the military, which has been getting ready to attack the nation above us, finally attacks the nation (Utah and Nevada). Thousands of troops who fought in the last war and then got laid off, are being re-hired to go fight against this nation. Troops soon overwhelm the enemy troops, and make strong gains. Thousands of locals there have been driven out, and they all have fled northward. Soon, the nations falls after four years of warfare.

The constant and implausible expansion of the Chinese results in all the Turkic areas they control, including Uyghuristan, breaking away. Korea, Manchuria, Mongolia, and Tibet all also break away due to the fact that no nation can wage that much war and not collapse.

• Japan: Japan continues to build up their military and continues expansion into the North Eastern Lands, and the colony of Kagiyama expands. They also declines Spain's request and decides to stay out of Europe. Meanwhile, Japan establishes an alliance with Cambodia.

A ship is sent out Eastward, to discover what these lands that the Captain was talking about were. The ships head off, and soon land in Spain. After a year of learning Spanish from the locals, the Captain of the crew formally went to Spanish King to try to figure out where this land is.

• China is now under full rebellion from the people, who blame the emperor and the government for not financing the war properly. It is now deposed, with a new government in place. They will prepare to take back their conquests though. Spanish missionaries arrive to Southern China, managing to get a certain degree to support.

• Spain: Spain finally defeats France in its war and amalgamates its empire. Spain continues shipbuilding and continues to send missionaries and colonists to its colonies in the Americas. Spanish explorers begin exploring for other lands and some land in OTL Brazil (Sao Paolo). They return to Spain to tell of this discovery and the vast wealth that is there a huge expedition is sent to claim it as a Spanish colony. The Aztec are refused entry to the Spanish King but meet with an advisor who wishes to know where these Aztecs come from as they believed all of the Americas to be savages. The advior tells the Aztecs that they are in the Land of Christ which all lands are and that they should spread the word of God to their people.(Aztec user decide how to take this) The Aztecs are then given a ship to send them home with some Spanish diplomats and missionaries.

All Turkic areas will be left out for now while China focuses on the East. They begin colonizing the San Francisco Bay (named the Zheng He Bay) and begin expeditions in the heart of OTL California.

• Aztecs: Expansion continues, and the nation soon controls the rest of Nevada. After getting news from the diplomats sent out earlier, they agree to give the Spanish a map of what we know about if they give us a map of what the world they know about. We tell the Spanish that we would give up our gods as soon as a mother would give up her children (that was a no, seeing as accepting another religion would be implausible). However, the missionaries won't be harmed in any way if they decide to continue trying to spread Christianity. The Aztecs send some diplomats to the Chinese in California, seeing as how they are in Aztec-controlled land.

• Spain: Spain continues to send colonists to the Americas and the colonies continue to grow and Christianity is continued to be spread in these lands. Spain agrees to send a map to the Aztecs and begins sending missionaries to try to convert its people. A new colony is made in OTL Brazil and it is rapidly expanded due to the promise of gold. Spain claims the whole continent for Spain (does not mean I own the continent) and its territories and the Spanish Emperor renames himself the Roman Emperor and talks of a new age for a united Europe. Spain begins a campaign to conquer the territory between its French part and Italian part of its empire to make land travel more convenient. The war goes well against the various city states and by 1530 almost all of the land is conquered and under Roman (Spanish) rule.

• The Masahid Caliphate works on improving its economy, and not expanding.

The Incas conquer the area equal to the approximate area of OTL Peru. Meanwhile, tribes from the north begin attacking the Aztecs, as their expansion has made their northern border weakly defended, and several years will have to be devoted to securing the border.

• The Masahid Caliphate loses control of all of their territory which is part of OTL UAE or Oman to the small Oman nation, as the Ibadis dominate there and have revolted against the Sunnis

• The Aztecs send thousands of troops to the north to help defend the new lands. Expansion has stopped, and to combat the attacks on settlers, raids into the tribal lands have begun. Forts are being set up to defend against the tribes, and settlers out on the frontier are advised to form militias. Another boat heads out toward Europe, and the explorers get some guns from some European Merchants. The King is impressed with the weapon, and offer any nations large amounts of gold for guns.

• China: Continues to expand its military and continue recovery. Northern Korea is now officially conquered. They continue settling the Pampas region. They begin sending an expeditionary force to the north, who want to meet with the Incan civilization. Their Chilean colony expands north.

• Sweden: Sweden establishes a colony in OTL Florida, Panama, Quebec City area, Peru, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina as well as New Orleans. These are only small trading posts as of yet, but settlers begin to flow into these areas in search of a better life and the lure of gold. Contact is made with the Incan Empire, and it offers the Empire an alliance. The Aztecs are also offered an alliance. Expansion into unclaimed Russia continues, and after decades of isolation, Sweden now controls a huge portion of what was once unclaimed Russia. Trading posts/colonies are also established in Iceland and Greenland.

• Aztecs: The military is improved, and more raids into tribal areas take place. A large raid took place into tribal areas, and the local tribesmen had to flee. However, the military only had enough supplies to head back home, so they couldn't claim the land. Back in the homeland, more canals and roads are built.

• The Masahids begin building up their naval fleet at Alexandria. They ask Spain for free passage through the straights of Gibraltar, in return they will never attempt to conquer parts of Christian Europe. Meanwhile, another port, called the Red Port, is under construction on the Red Sea. The Masahids ask the Emperor of China if he knows much of Islam, and if he wishes to learn more about the true faith of God.
  • Emperor's Response: He is not sure, though despite a minority of the population Christian and Muslim, he is interested in knowing.

All colonies are expanded. A colony is established in Panama and near OTL Quebec City.

• Aztecs: The King accepts the alliance request from Sweden, and asks for forgiveness for not replying earlier. Expansion into Oklahoma continues, and soon all of the state is under Aztec control. The King has decided that the nation is going to have problems defending all of its land due to the low population of some areas, so some land is taken and made into a puppet state of the Aztecs called Pacifica (it's that Long Strip of land that is hugging the Pacific Ocean). The King soon appoints someone to take control of it, but they really have no power, only to announce decisions made and act like he made them. The locals are pleased that they have gained their independence back, but Aztec settlers are mad that they are now in a foreign nation.
  • Swedish Diplomacy: Sweden Offers to send some Swedish settlers to the Aztecs to solve the population problems or to deport Native Americans to the Aztecs to hep in that direction. All Swedes who immigrate there are to follow Aztec law and respect Aztec religious beliefs.
  • The Aztecs decline, stating that Aztec Citizens and other Natives often fight with each other. If you want to send Swedish Settlers, you can, and we ask if we can send some settlers to Sweden. The population problems are just that some areas are so desolate and far away from the the rest of the nation that settling there is worthless, so people don't move there.
  • Swedish Diplomacy: Sweden agrees to sending settlers to the Aztecs and 5000 Swedish setters (roughly 200 Swedish families) are sent quite willingly to the Aztecs. The Aztec offer to of settlers going to Sweden is also accepted, as this would help both cultures mix both in Europe and the Americas, helping strengthen the Aztec-Swedish Alliance throughout the ages. The Aztecs are asked if Sweden can buy New Orleans for a price that the Aztecs set.
  • The Aztecs will sell OTL New Orleans for the formula for gunpowder, and a large amount of guns as well. We also send around roughly 200 Aztec families (200 for the sake of keeping it even) to Sweden.
  • Swedish Diplomacy: Sweden graciously accepts and Swedish troops will occupy the city and surrounding lands next year. The formal and 15,000 of the latest guns are given to the Aztecs.

The 200 Aztec families are given land anywhere they want to live establishing the city of New Texacala and New Teotechinala in Siberia near the Japanese border, and thousands of Swedes arrive in these new cities as well, helping to mix the cultures of the two nations. Three Aztec families move to Stockholm where they also begin to turn the culture into an Aztec-Swede Hybrid, with one young Aztec girl catching the eye of the Crown Prince Alexei, a relationship blossoms, and he proposes in 1562, which is accepted by the royal family, and she, Coszcatl, (which in Aztec means Jewel) accepts, and the two are married two months later on August 17th, 1562. A young Aztec is now heir to the Swedish thrown as Queen, and the two will have a long, fruitful marriage, producing seven children - six daughters and one son.

• Tsardom of Sweden: The Swedish King and Queen are killed in a bridge accident when it collapses on top of there river yacht, investigations begin, but as of now, Crown Prince Alexei and his bride Jewel ascend to the throne as king and queen of Sweden, which makes Jewel, which is an Aztec by birth, the first Aztec Queen of Sweden, but it doesn't matter to the people who know she legitimately made it there, and that is all that matters. Expansion of all colonies and expansion into unclaimed Russia begins from main Sweden and the Aztec-Swede cities on the border with Japan toward main Sweden. (Please put the those two cities on the Japanese border on the map please)

Come on. Don't ban me forever. No one had even posted on the new turn, I didn't think it was over. That, and that was the first time I had ever posted on a turn when it was over. Sweden did it a lot, and they are still here.

Sorry for being too harsh, but it's just become a big enough problem and I don't want to re-edit a map from last year just to include it (nor do I want to add that to the next map).
