Sudan (Arabic: السودان as-Sūdān), officially the Republic of the Sudan (Arabic: جمهورية السودان Jumhūrīyat as-Sūdān), is a sovereign country in the Nile Valley of North Africa, bordered by Egypt to the north, the Red Sea, Eritrea and Ethiopia to the east, South Sudan to the south, the Central African Republic to the southwest, Chad to the west and Libya to the northwest. The Nile River divides the country into eastern and western halves. Its predominant religion is Islam.
In Imperial Machines, after the end of WW2, the United Kingdom transfers Anglo-Egyptian Sudan to Denmark and ended a Anglo-Egyptian Condominium here. Egypt no longer controls Sudan peacefully, because their land Sultanate of Egypt, once before protectorate of the United Kingdom, now becomes a Greek colony again. Denmark established the colony named Danish Nubia. On 1 January 1956, Sudan declares independence from Denmark as Republic of Egypt and Sudan.
