The Supreme Court of the United States was the top court in the United States government. The Supreme Court had the final say in all decisions put through the U.S. legal system. Justices of the Supreme Court were nominated by the President of the United States and served until death or until they decided to retire.

The Supreme Court was dissolved on September 14, 1928 when leftist militias captured Washington, D.C. Unlike many other politicians and officials in the city, all nine members of the court collectively decided to not flee the country. They were all arrested by the socialist force.
