The Kingdom of Sweden, colloquially known as Sweden, is a constitutional monarchy located on the Scandinavian peninsula. During the Great Nuclear War, Sweden maintained a policy of neutrality which spared her from any nuclear attack. Nonetheless, the instability of the war eventually forced the nation into greater involvement in European affairs, which would lead the country to fight what remained of the Soviet Armed Forces in Karelia. As a result, Sweden is a regional power.

The current King of Sweden is Charles XVII from the House of Bernadotte. Charles came to the throne of Sweden following the death of his father due to a mysterious illness, he is the youngest known head of state in Europe. The current Prime Minister is Ulf Kristersson of the Moderate Party.
