TFO (Short for Télévision française de l’Ontario) is a Canadian French education network and media organization serving the province of Ontario. It is owned by the Ontario French-language Education Communications Authority (OTELFO).
Prior to 2012, It was an all analogue network serving Northern and Easter Ontario communities with significant Francophone populations Sudbury, Hawkesbury, and Pembroke. Those stations got minor reception in Ottawa and Montreal.
Following it’s shutdown of TVO stations, it soon acquired all of CBLFT’s transmitters except for CBEFT. However, it opened new stations for Toronto, Ottawa, Kenora, International Falls, Dryden and Windsor. Following the acquisition of CBLFT’s former transmitters.
