He did, too in 1940 after the fall of France. His words were to the effect "Hitler is the greatest statesman of the century" His reasoning was probably that anything goes if it annoys the British. Pirate 11:06, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

I got the quote from a library book but I can't remember the title or the author.
It may have been Kenneth Macksey's "invasion" alternative history.

Hitler held Chandra Bose in high esteem. If he had managed to capture India, Hitler would have looked for an ally in India because he wasn't going to send "Ayran-descentents" to their deaths in holocaust camps. if hitler managed to Invade india, the most likely ruler would NOT have been Nerhu Ghandi but Subhash Chandra Bose.
