Why are South Florida's leaders the leaders of Binghamton? --GOPZACK 22:47, September 20, 2010 (UTC)

I copy pasted the template from there, thats why. Arstarpool 00:04, September 21, 2010 (UTC)

Oh ok, I saw Yank changed it. Great job so far! --GOPZACK 00:19, September 21, 2010 (UTC)

I increased the population because I believe that, since this is New York, that there is a high probability that Binghamton recieved refugees from the rest of New York and even Pennsylvania.

Read the Doomsday section. They tried to block roads going into Pennsylania.

The thing is, almost all of New York State's population is in the New York Metro Area. I think there are about a bit more than a million people on the mainland or something. And with the New York City article pretty much stating the city was blown up to high heaven, I think maintianing their 1980 county population, about 150,000 would be more reasonable. The rest of the population increase could be recent immigrants who are eager to enjoy the prosperity of the nation.

IBM[]

Don't forget that Binghamton was the headquarters for IBM. Read the section on Binghamton in the New York State article; I would think the survival of many of the IBM engineers and computer programmers who were in town on Doomsday, and the knowledge they possess, would be valuable assets as Binghamton seeks to connect with the rest of the world. Fallout Patterns[]

I have a problem with the fallout patterns. The paragraph maintains that fallout descends from Providence and Albany, points from which the prevailing winds would take the fallout up across New England and Canada to the east of Pennsylvania. The nearest strikes that may have affected Binghampton were over the Scranton area. And these were over fifty miles to the south. Significant fallout may have settled from multiple hits there, though these two may have tracked a little to the east. New York City, though heavily bombed, probably had its fallout head out over Connecticutt and Massachusetts.

Flag[]

I have a huge favor to ask of you guys, since right now I'm in Medellin, Colombia, could someone make a flag for Binghamton? I would suggest, but not a requirement if you could base it slightly off the New York flag. Arstar 23:50, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

Be careful down there, Alex. I've heard there are some really bad folk in some places in that city. I was thinking about merging the Binghamton city seal with that of the state (which is in the center of a dark blue field on the state flag. The seal of the city is a light green oval, so the dark blue shouldn't be too much of a problem. My art program is a bit "primitive" but I'll see what i can do. Binghamton flag
Okay, the seal of the town, plus the sunrise from the state flag, on dark blue background. SouthWriter 04:53, November 25, 2010 (UTC)
I've been down here quite a few times, so I'll watch my back. But still, the "bad folk" (FARC) are the ones on the defensive these days, and lets hope we can beat them out some time soon!
Thanks again for the good pictures, South. It's great! Arstar 05:16, November 25, 2010 (UTC)
