Alternative History

There are several problems with this game. One, Courland did not exist at this time, as far as I know. Two, the native American nations are far too large, and don't even respect the other nations in the area. I will try to make a more accurate map.

Also, will there be mods in this game? Monster Pumpkin 19:29, May 11, 2012 (UTC)

New proposed map:

I wasn't sure where to put the majority of North American nations, so I left them out for now. Monster Pumpkin 19:36, May 11, 2012 (UTC)

Problems[]

There are many reasons for this:

1. The Aztecs and Toltecs occupied the exact same land 500 years apart.

2. The Moche were one of the many people incorporated into the Incan empire. Like the Aztecs and Toltecs, there is a land problem, as they occupied the same land in northern Peru.

3. Depending on what you mean by "Cahokia" the Aliens cover all or most of historical Cahokian land. If you mean the actual Cahokian kingdom, tha is a small area surrounding present St. Louis. If you mean the overall Moundbuilder society (the difference is that of Spain vs. Habsburgs) then there are conflicts with Aliens and Iroquois. Furthermore, both Cahokian and overall Moundbuilder society collapsed around 800 AD. The Aztecs were survivors from the collapse who fled south.

Thus, you cannot have both Cahokia and Aztecs, nor Aztecs and Toltecs, nor Iroquois and aliens! I believe that Native choice as well as Alien placement is poor.

Below is my alternate proposal:

When I said "Moche" on the map. I meant "Camebeba". Sorry.

If we expand the amount of Native American nations and allow the aliens some expansion, we could have a more dynamic game. I think it would be much more interesting to play as if the aliens land as the same time as the Europeans. Although I would be upset by the presence of a Mayan civilization in this time period, I think the above map will work well. JoeyB98 14:40, June 18, 2012 (UTC)

Partial Mod Request[]

This doesn't seem to be going very quickly, unless we've changed to two days/year...

Before I take de facto control and change the year, I am here putting in a petition to be allowed some mod controls, not to the point of natural disasters (as I am also playing a nation) but to change the year and to judge Implausibility court cases if my nation is not involved. The current mods seem to be very inactive, and as I can be on a lot, I can get the game moving.JoeyB98 14:15, June 18, 2012 (UTC)

Concerning the Talk Page so far and the start of the game.[]

Talk page:

Joey, yes you can have full modship.

Reason the Mayans survive is that they discover Jamaica and Caribbean.

Yes I will admit that the New world nations are unfairly positioned, but remember that the aliens landed and forced the tribes out. This meant they encroached on other tribes and the weakest were wiped out. tribe borders shifted.

Start of Game:

GAME WILL START ON SATURDAY THE 23rd OF JUNE. FOR REAL THIS TIME.

Final map, taking into consideration your ideas will be posted by 21.00 GMT tomorrow. No arguing about it afterwards.

Pause. This is probably the end. Please state how the game could be made better.[]

In the meantime here is some 'light' music: Light Music

<dirty look> That is not light music. That is metallica. The Royal Guns (talk) 16:02, July 9, 2012 (UTC)

This belongs on the talk page. Also, one aspect of feedback I have for you is to have a better starting map, I don't see why you removed all of the nations colored white in the original map. LurkerLordB (Talk) 16:24, July 9, 2012 (UTC)

I think an improved formula would be in order...~~ Joey

People, sign your posts^^.

I think we need more players. No offence Joey, but we had 8 countries and 4 players, with you playing 5 of said countries.

Got kinda implausible, too. There is a reason that people didn't expand like that OTL. The Royal Guns (talk) 12:08, July 12, 2012 (UTC)
