- Good question!. I think and taking a hint to how it happened in Dutch Indonesia and making other assumptions such as being a trade hub with China and Far East and a far stronger colonial policy from Dutch colonial authorities I would say about 1% Europeans, 5%-10% Dutch, 5-10% natives of Formosa, 10% Dutch creoles, 10%-15% Malay and 65% Chinese (chiefly Hakka and Cantonese) --JorgeGG (talk) 20:59, June 11, 2019 (UTC)
