Duits is the Dutch word for German, is that intentionally? Villa Cruoninga 15:45, 17 July 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, it is. They would be original Nederlands West Indies in Dutch, but as they became the West German Federation (West-Duitse Statenbond) the official name changes in Dutch, but not in *there*'s English.

- Aha, I see. I came to this page through the Dutch Guyana (British Louisiana) page so I didn't notice that. This makes it a lot clearer. By the way, if you ever need some Dutch you can ask me, most "Dutch" here looks a suspicious lot like it's made by computers. Villa Cruoninga 11:19, 18 July 2007 (UTC)
Sranan Tongo, that did not develop in this ATL? I see it's not included in the table, but it's widely spoken in OTL Suriname. Wigbo 18:12, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
