I Agree. the plans for invading Britain were flawed, with no adequite transport, dominance of the sea and air still contested, and troops inadequitely prepaired. an invasion of the united states, with a whole ocean to cross, weak supply lines full of Submarines (the reverse of the battle of the atlantic) no long range air transport (JU 390 and Me 264 wouldn't have appeared on the scene until 1944 at the earliest) would have made the invasion, at best, a disasterous faliure, and at worst, a catastrophic faliure that would have paved the way for a soviet invasion of europe, or a coup against Hitler led by some of his generals --Das Taub 21:09, 17 March 2009 (UTC)
