I doubt Truman would have not allowed this to happen.  Just because the Soviets bombed Anchorage, doesn't mean America will surrender.  America has already enough bombs to strike both Moscow and Leningrad so why didn't he order the bombing of this cities?  Or even retake Alaska?  I mean the U.S. Armed Forces won't surrender that easilyGillan1220 (talk) 02:45, September 19, 2015 (UTC)

No external support, and Soviets have a means to get to the US. By themselves, short of nuking the world, they cannot win at that point. If it helps, TL is marked biased for a reason. Lordganon (talk) 15:17, September 19, 2015 (UTC)

Oh alright, I see the picture now.  I've read from the main talk page that the Soviets came out stronger by the end of World War II in this timeline.  Yes, I see the Soviets have the capability to attack Alaska and the Aleutian Islands, after South Korea was overrun by the DPRK-Chinese-Soviets, then the Philippines and French Indochina fell to the Chinese, Australia bombed, US Territories in the Pacific annexed, then Hawaii fell too (I'm thinking of a much worse Pearl Harbor surprise attack).  So it was the US Citizens who no longer wanted a war with the USSR, just like OTL Vietnam War? Gillan1220 (talk) 12:18, October 1, 2015 (UTC)
