"The Tsar was assassinated, though his family fled to Siberia, and claimed asylum in the Japanese-controled areas."
Why would this aristocratic family move to inhospitable Siberia? Why would they move to an area controlled by their enemy, Japan? Why would they not move to some comfortable European capital and try for some sort to government-in-exile thing? --AirshipArmada 19:12, 28 Jul 2005 (UTC)
: Y'know, you're right ... I suppose I was thinking of *here* where much of Siberia was controlled by White Forces for a while. Definitely will have to change that Nik 04:01, 29 Jul 2005 (UTC)

I have an interesting suggestion for your timeline:
: In OTL, Japan invaded the Aleutian Islands of Alaska in 1942 to cause a diversion from the raging Midway battle. This failed, and the USA won at Midway But if Alaska is part of Japan, what if the troops that were supposed to attack Alaska attacked Midway or Hawaii instead. What if this cost the United States the Battle of Midway, and Japan went on to invade Hawaii- or even the USA.
