Since I am from Minnesota and I believe that the Eastern Misuri in this timeline is pretty deeply settled by French and English settlers by the time the japanese. I believe the area to the OTL Missouri River should go to the Commonwealth of American States. the rest can make up Misuri. Make it a province with the capital of St. Croix. Just making sure my home states history is accounted for. --Henneth 00:59, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Yeah, I saw your comment earlier. Still thinking about it. Misuri probably is too big, but just where the borders should be I'm still thinking about. I may make it another French nation, North Louisianne or something similar, so that there'll be Canada, North Louisianne, and South Louisianne. - Nik 03:21, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Could the part of Misuri west of the Missouri River become apart of Aruta, and call the rest Minnesota? The capital of Minnesota could be St. Croix. I could help you with Minnesota's playing in world events for this Toyotomi. I like your ideas so far. --Henneth 03:43, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Hmm ... that's an idea. Where would this St. Croix be *here*? I can't find a city by that name on a map of Minnesota. Perhaps after the Japanese-settled regions broke off to form Misuri, Louisianne itself was subdivided into two new colonies, Minnesota in the north and Arkansas (or maybe Nouvelle-Orleans?) in the south.
- Here is a proposal: Image:Minnesota.png The dark blue area is Minnesota. This is a map of North America immediately after the Second Global War (1812). At this point, Minnesota is still part of New France along with *Arkansas and Canada. - Nik 05:46, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
St. Croix was a small fort built by the French in 1680 and a small settlement was blossoming there unti lthe english took it over and it importance declined in favor of St. Paul. Without this takeover, St. Criox is the best place to make the capital. PS I like the map. That can be the state. --Henneth 18:49, 2 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- just a minor thing, shouldn't this be sainte(or ste)-Croix ? the word is feminine in french. --Marcpasquin 00:45, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)
No problem. Fort St. Croix exists today but the st. part must be english. --Henneth 00:50, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)
