Thank you! Originally I tried to come up with a flag very similar to Austria's and I went with the black and yellow Habsburg flag as sort of a placeholder. I wanted darker colors so as to let the flag be more discernable in snowy conditions (not sure if that makes sense but that was my reasoning). I came across the coat of arms from this guy online (he does really good stuff) and kinda adopted the flag for the colors. I think it could work in lore too, with the yellow from the Habsburg colors and the blue from the fact that almost all Greenland countries have blue in their flags.
Regarding population I would imagine it's lower than most of the Greenland countries. I was thinking maybe around a million total? Let me know if you think that's too low or too high.

I think darker colours definitely makes sense so I can see why you went with this flag. And the basis in lore also works, I think the blue is quite an important aspect of Greenland, and it will probably be worth expanding out why that is so. Perhaps it is a relic of the old Norse settlers, maybe their banners were graced by the shade of blue now found everywhere in Greenland.
A million is possible, but perhaps somewhere around 8-900k? So only slightly lower. And I agree, if we include these islands as part of the Greenland subcontinent then this would be the lowest population of them all. Impishly yours, Imp (Say Hi?!) 16:22, July 2, 2018 (UTC)
