A note regarding ontario and quebec, in 1816 they would have been known respectively as Upper Canada and Lower Canada. While a british territory made out of French Canada was previsouly known as Quebec (and so might have possibly reverted to that name), Ontario only got its name in 1867. --Marcpasquin 15:35, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
