This is more a note-to-self. Might change the name to:

Turkish Protectorate/Protectorate of Turkey

Anatolian Protectorate

Dulkadir was nowhere near Patnos. It possessed territory more or less equal to Hatay.

At this time, it is not a protectorate of anything.

Patnos itself isn't in any areas controlled by Eretna, nor is a good half of its territory.

True...can you think of a better name? "Greater Patnos" is sounding increasingly lame, though I might just leave it the same anyway. Caeruleus 07:46, June 17, 2011 (UTC)

Unfortunately, no. The only independent states to have really existed in the area of Patnos and not cover the Middle East are either pagan, or Christian, and neither of those for a very long time. No real precedent of any kind for a name.

That being said, this thing is called "Grater Patnos" in so many locations by this point, that it may as well stay the same.

Once again, true. Oh well. Caeruleus 08:51, June 17, 2011 (UTC)
