The map
I think a new (perhaps larger) map should be found for this game. The current one has those weird lines connecting countries to islands, which isn't very useful for a map game. Smaller islands are also scaled up so they can be visible. General534 (talk) 00:33, December 23, 2016 (UTC)

I'm semi-retiring from mapmaking because it's hard to keep up with turns and I'm not as interested in the game as before. What the fuck kind of shit is this ? I am sorry for putting it here but this needs to be addressed. This game started 15 fucking years ago. In that time UAR and Saudi think they can turn a fucking regressive, backward, not industrialised, low infrastructure countries to ones developing a nuclear program and space program side by side. King Fasil lets women in the school system. WOW. Then in 10 fucking years Saudi develops nukes. WOW. Read above. Saudi is a 0 resource barren wasteland, home to a regressive backward community, low infrastructure, and guys this is saudi in 1979. They export oil, have 0 factories, 0 infrastructure and import everything. They dont have scientists. There is no research. And simply they can never have the human capital. Saudi needs to get scientists and start some basic fuckingg research. AND even with foreign funding they will take at leat 40 years to start a reactor. Same is for the UAR. They may start a reactor in 15 years but other things will take 10 more years. Again thr UAR doesnt have human capital. Thry are practically barrem wastelands. By human capital I mean scientists, support people, manpower and quality of education of the population. It is just not fine for them to develop nukes in 15 years or even a reactor. Oh and these two are modernizing themselves while spreading islamist ideas. WOW. This ASB AND IMPLAUSIBLE ALSO IMPOSSIBLE. Also US won't let saudi do that. So is for the UAR.India took 20 years while Pak took 30 and they developed nukes in 1998. This is 1979. -Dev Oh fuck me but UAR AND SAUDI even have a missile programme going on side by side and they have even developed ICBMs. Great. They thibk that in 15 years they turn around a backward community to one with a great scientist to population ratio, infrastructure to test and create ICBMs and nukes alongwith developing rockets and getting their own space program, and they thibk they have enough scientists in 15 years. They construct a large number of quality universities, focus on research and the trend catches on to the population so quickly while spreading Islamist ideas. GREAT. WELL DONE. If the game goes like this then in the next 5 years every country will have nukes and a space programme. The UAR is a union of a bunch of barrem wasteland countries with 0 infra, no resources, backward community, and the lowest scientist to population ration even today in OTL. I think you missed both the name and premise of the game lol. The game starts off with UAR leaps and bounds ahead of OTL long before the game begins. Also, "the arabs have no factories, infra, or scientists"? That sounds like borderline racism. I dont want to start an argument of course, especially as i see some parts of the game as implausible as well, so Ill just let Person adrress it.
