I like the way you've outlined some of the pop culture changes. I think that's a side of althists that's often missed. I'm curious, however, as a devoted Trekkie, how you explain the changes to that show. I'm not criticising, just curious. Is it to do with a more refined attitude in the United States and thus the show has less of an appeal to escapists or utopians? What about TNG and Voyager? What, I ask, what? Sorry. I like this one. It was an interesting read, and it doesn't deviate too much from what could have really happened, so it's very believable. Just curious, in 1982, Ted and Joan Kennedy divorced. A freshly divorced, especially single politician elected President is unlikely. Or do you postulate they stayed together for the Presidency?

Could you add something about Electric cars (most notibly, the EV1)?
Maybe something about an EV automotive X prize in the early to mid 90's or something.
