Please don't delete the section on the pre-doomsday history. I started this article please put your ideas here in the talk page. I do however, like what you've written so far so I'll keep it for now. Thanks.--GOPZACK 00:03, March 13, 2010 (UTC)

I have a couple of problems with what has been written so far. Firstly the size of St Helena has been increased from 47 square miles as is in real life to 72 square miles. Secondly even if the size of the island was 72 square miles could it really cope with a population of over 1 million?? Verence71 09:54, March 13, 2010 (UTC)

I increased the size of the island maybe due to land reclaimation (see examples like Macau and Hong Kong in real life), and yes 1,000,000 is massive, but how about people not living on land (boat homes?). Bezuidenhout 10:04, March 13, 2010 (UTC)

Edit war[]

Zach and Bez, I think you two need to reach a compromise on the pre-Doomsday history before an edit war breaks out. Now in all fairness to Zach, the pre-Doomsday history is rather long and unecessary. How about trimming it to a few paragraphs instead of deleting it entirely? Mitro 17:42, March 13, 2010 (UTC)

New Britain review[]

As part of the review of New Britain, I'm making changes to pages associated with it to make them all consistent with the new version that I'm proposing. In the case of this article, there's also stuff remaining from the 2010 content by Bezuidenhout, in which the island develops into an advanced society, a megalopolis of 1 million people living on reclaimed land. The saga of Survivor 2 is part of that body of work, so it will have to go. The Helenese language is too, though to be honest I feel like that doesn't do any harm.
