Continuing Work[]
I'm going to expand on the history, bringing it a few more years forward. Nothing radical will happen, just the island strengthening its position and shaking off the dregs of Doomsday. A few key points:

Considering the populations of the member states, it makes no sense at all that Grenada could manage that. The ECF members in these articles - which wouldn't be all of the members in 1992, either - have 17-18 times the population of Grenada, more industry, etc., and there's not really anywhere on those islands a group of rebels could actually base itself to survive.
I'm aware that it's not part of the ECF, but the thought that there would be any rebels, let alone enough to actually force the ECF peacekeepers out, just makes no sense.

Hmm. Perhaps you're right. I would think, though, that socialist nations, both near and far, would be supporting Grenada. It has a strategic position in the Caribbean, where socialist nations are in a bit of a short supply. Perhaps a diplomatic stand-off, rather than military, would be more appropriate? The world in 1992 atl, not even. All of those in the region are fighting large civil unrest or recovering from nukes. The only other ones are in Siberia and East Africa, and they're not in any position, either, to do anything.
Basically, they can "support" them all they want, but..... there's nothing they can do about it, at all.
Some sort of slight socialist government, ala~ a protectorate, of the ECF, with peacekeepers, is probably the most likely result in my mind. Call it a better-off Haiti in that regard, given ECF movements there.
