Shouldn't Salzburg remain part of the Confederation? Why did it suceed from the Union?HAD 21:39, June 10, 2010 (UTC)

I'm working out the deatils, but basically, it had to do with the refugee crisis in the 1980s. Actually, the whole point of this proposal is to bring back the Hapsburg dynasty. With Austria part of the AC and the rest of the old Austro-Hungarian Empire in ruins or in anarchy, I thought of an Austrian city deciding to go it alone. Jnjaycpa 21:50, June 10, 2010 (UTC)

If thats the point, maybe it would be better to use part of Hungary? Vas and Zala Counties (from modern Hungary, but same holds true here) in Western Hungary would be more or less intact, and are right near Confederation borders. As it is, this, realistically, goes against canon.

New Proposal

Habsburg

If you want to revive the Habsburgs: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Habsburg-Lorraine, the Habsburg line pretty much died out, and this is the continuation through a lesser branch. And again, it would likely be in Hungary.Oerwinde 20:38, June 12, 2010 (UTC)

Strikes

Rheinmunster could have been hit, due to the Canadian base there, though maybe a little unlikely. But, The city of Freiburg was the location of a few French divisions, and the main city on a French route into Germany to help out NATO, and would have been hit as a result.

Flag

If they are a continuation of the Kingdom of Wurttemburg, why wouldn't they use the Kingdom of Wurttemburg flag instead of a German one with a badly edited coat of arms?Oerwinde 08:12, June 26, 2010 (UTC)

The coat of arms mentioned is from the old Duchy of Swabia. I used the standard Microsoft Paint software, which isn't worth spit. I'll try to find some better software. Jnjaycpa 15:15, June 26, 2010 (UTC)

The arms of the Kingdom of Wurttemburg incorporates the arms of Swabia, the three lions on gold was the arms of Swabia, the 3 antlers, Wurttemburg.Oerwinde 18:34, June 26, 2010 (UTC)

Boarder with the Alpine Confederation

 I belive the  map on the Swabia page conflicts with map on the 1983 doomsday Europe page. It seams to the dot that repersents Swabia's capital of   Ravensburg on the Swabia page  is in territory is listed alpine terroity on the map on the  Europe page.  I blive that either the map of Europe needs to redraw the Swabia page should be edited to place it's capital eleshwere. I  support the option moving Swabia captial because editing the page is easier then fixing the map of Europe and I feel that Ravensburg is so close to switerland that is more plausible for it be   occpied by the alpine federation then the capital of an indpent state
