I'm working out the deatils, but basically, it had to do with the refugee crisis in the 1980s. Actually, the whole point of this proposal is to bring back the Hapsburg dynasty. With Austria part of the AC and the rest of the old Austro-Hungarian Empire in ruins or in anarchy, I thought of an Austrian city deciding to go it alone. Jnjaycpa 21:50, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
If thats the point, maybe it would be better to use part of Hungary? Vas and Zala Counties (from modern Hungary, but same holds true here) in Western Hungary would be more or less intact, and are right near Confederation borders. As it is, this, realistically, goes against canon.

Habsburg
If you want to revive the Habsburgs: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Habsburg-Lorraine, the Habsburg line pretty much died out, and this is the continuation through a lesser branch.
