Welcome, and a few things to consider
Jer, welcome to 1983:Doomsday! Your article is a well-written debut. I'll point this out on the talk page for the article, but the main questions we have regarding real people (celebrities or otherwise) are where they were on Doomsday; how they survived; and how they got to wherever the writer has them escape to.
One thing to keep in mind is that in canon, there are very few survivors in New Jersey itself. Due in part to its proximity to New York City and Philadelphia, we assume it was one of the harder hit states on Doomsday. Looking at Paramus' location on Google maps, the only option I see is for McCartney to have gone west, towards what became the survivor citystates in the eastern Pennsylvania region. Between the blasts in New York and West Point, I don't think anyone would have survived the trek going that route to what canon has designated as the Outer Lands. While he certainly could have survived to the present day (and been quite the celebrity!) in Pa., given what's been established regarding when the survivor states in that region became known to the world at large, the news of McCartney's survival may have become known only recently (as opposed to pre-2000). Anyway, just a few things to think about. Once again, welcome to the TL!
Actually, Paul can't possibly be alive. Have a look at the New York City article. The county you have him in, as well as all the neighboring counties and in most cases even a county beyond that were all hit. We really need to add all of that to the strike list, lol.
Besides, I doubt very much that you can place him definitely on Doomsday at all. If he lived in the Hamptons, and was at home, he'd be fine. But not anywhere remotely near NYC.
Ringo had just released an album in June of 1983, and may well have been touring. But, he also had an animated series that he narrated go on the air in 1984, and it was all being done in England, so odds are good he was there somewhere. The studio was on the outskirts of London, fyi, so its gone too. But, really no way at all to know where he was either.
George would have in the end died of Cancer, like otl - that type, no hope of really stopping it. However, he was not recording at the time, and was likely (though not for sure) at home, which is a manor house in Oxfordshire, England, far outside the control of any survivor states, and in territory known to be held by raiders. However, it's also ten miles from a blast zone and within distance of travel for survivors from London. Could work well as a prisoner of the TBA, though.
John's widow was in NYC more likely than not. Definitely toast.

Heh. Didn't notice that you had a location for Ringo's house. No matter, I guess - its even closer to the ruins of London than George's house, though it is inside territory that became decent in the late 1990s, after long being gang-controlled. Still, more than likely dead. Lordganon 13:13, March 6, 2011 (UTC)
this is a great story, and i hope it becomes part of DD 1983 storyline. one question are you planing on doing a page on Ringo and George?Wingman1 11:17, March 6, 2011 (UTC)
Yeah I am getting to George and Ringo -Jer1818
Okay I updated Ringo and am working on fixing Paul's Post-Doomsday Activities...Thanks for the comments and if anybody has any more advice or comments please let me know.Jer1818 16:47, March 6, 2011 (UTC)
I have to say, the section on Ringo is good. As I said, and you admit, Paul needs work, though. One thing I have to say: Paragraphs. Definitely Paragraphs. Lordganon 22:24, March 6, 2011 (UTC)
i REALLY hope that Paul Mccartney survived! The World would really need a man like him in the years after DD.
he brings happyness to so many people!
He could sing "pipes of peace" as his rallying cry for peace. (Zootv1991 03:03, July 14, 2011 (UTC))
He supposedly lived primarily in NYC. However, he also had homes in London, Scotland, Tucson, Peasmarsh, or Rye throughout his lifetime. Given that all of his children were born in London, the last in 1977, I feel that that is more than likely where he was.

Sorry about the Hiatus, I have finished George's post doomsday activities and would like see what the community feed back to the piece is.Jer1818 23:19, July 18, 2011 (UTC)
I do like the content, except for it being Dublin. The Alliance barely had contact with mainland Britain outside of parts of Scotland and Liverpool itself at that point in time. And, it's far from TBA areas of control in eastern England.
One of the East Anglican states, probably Essex, would be the best bet. Given TBA areas of control, and later activities, that would make sense too. Change Dublin to "Southend-on-Sea," and the rest would still work out. Though you'd need a reference to the outside world only finding out about these things in 2000.
