Welcome to the official talk page for Victory To The Rising Sun (VTTRS) (ライジングサンへの勝利 in Japanese). The idea for this timeline came when I was working on my Double Collapse and briefly on A Brighter Millennium Dawn timeline, thinking about what it would've been like had Empire of Japan won the WWII. On this talk page, you can propose ideas for pages if you wish to contribute to this series. Please read the rules and wiki guidelines before proposing a page idea.
South Manchuria[]
Hello, I would just like to ask if South Manchuria is separate from the Republic of China or are they just one state. If so then I think that South Manchuria could be like South Korea in OTL. Also I think that we shouldn’t quickly destroy North Manchuria but let it stay there, acting as both this timeline’s People’s Republic of China and North Korea. Thanks :)

Spanish Revolution of 1989[]
Hi I have an idea in which the 1989 Spanish Revolution is crushed resulting in Spain never joining the EU and can they also keep the monarchy.

Apparently, no, the revolution would never be crushed. as the supression of the 1989 Spanish Revolution would've entrigger a civil war between the opposition and the neo-Fracoist (or Falaganists). And besides, you should need to join the main VTTRS timeline, and not doing little unauthorized editing without Narukami's permission. - Generated "Jazz Diamond" Narukami (Akira) (talk) 08:11, 5 November 2023
1972 VTTRS[]
I think that Rockefeller will win the election. He would have ended the Vietnam war and visit China by sending Romney there just like Nixon. He would have ended the riots and drug lords. Although Robert Kennedy is popular, he would have lost due to a strong incumbent. The election might be very close, with Kennedy winning the popular vote but losing the electoral votes. Besides, Wallace or McCarthy might have ran.
Apparently, not exactly, as Rockefeller's chance for re-election is impossible, due to RFK's popularity without his assassination in 1968, from which he would've lost to Eugene McCarthy in '68, but I am sure that even with RFK still winning, I am sure that he could've visit an non-communist China in this timeline.
So yeah, Rockefeller's chance for winning is not possible. - Generated "Jazz Diamond" Narukami (Akira) (talk) 20:32, 19 March 2024
