Texas, officially the Republic of Texas, is a sovereign nation in North America. Texas is bordered by California to the west, Louisiana to the north and east, California to the west, and Mexico to the south.

Texas gained its independence from Mexico in 1835, with the help of the British. With the election Henry Clay in 1844, the possibility of Texas' annexation by the British Empire ended. The Clay administration would work to settle the "Texas Question," resulting in a compromise between the Mexican Empire, the British Empire, Texas, and Louisiana. Under these agreements, Mexico City would officially recognize the independence of Texas. They also agreed to "sell" the claimed territories northeast of the Rio Grande, which would be partially paid by British and Louisianan loans. The Republic of Texas would be formally barred from joining any nations surrounding it, establishing the republic as a buffer state between Mexico, the British Empire colony of California, and Louisiana.

In 1955, a Ku Klux Klan revolution overthrew the democratic presidential republic and installed a totalitarian oligarchy dictatorship that mirrored the Apartheid regime in the Cape. Tensions between rebel groups demanding racial equality reached a peak in 1989, when they staged a coup, which turned into a revolution. Eventually, the revolution prevailed and democracy was restored in 1991.
