The Beatles are an English rock band from Liverpool formed in 1960. Originally consisting of 5 members, inculding John Lennon,Paul McCartney, and George Harrison, the band would have it's classic lineup with the 3 members of the 1st lineup along with Ringo Starr on drums. The band would see a great success in their native UK and, later, across the world. However, the band broke up in 1970 among rising tensions among band members.
In 1985,however,John Lennon announced that The Beatles would be back after a 15 year hiatus, bringing the classic lineup back for Live Aid. From 1986 to 1999,the band made 8 #1 chart topping albums, but in 1999,the band would break up again, citing tensions again.
After 16 years of a hiatus,Paul McCartney announced that The Beatles would be returning for a world tour and possibly an album. From Mar of 2016 to Nov of 2017,The Beatles toured across the world playing songs they had done,as well as a few songs from their upcoming album that was released in 2019. However, while most of the classic lineup was there,John Lennon had announced that while he will retire from music,he stated that it was fine to continue The Beatles without him.
