The Republic, formally The Peoples Platonic Republic, is a state located in the Lindi region of OTL southern Tanzania. The republic was founded by exiled communists from Russia, Poland and France, as well as refugees from all around the world. It is a Libertarian Socialist Republic currently under the headship of Aleksandr Gayzer.
The state was founded off of the ideals of both Plato, as written down in The Republic, as well as Ayernovist thought. Currently with almost 600,000 people, its burdgeoning population is in part due to the global red émigrés, the fall of multiple communist regimes, and refugees from the Great War.
